    I love the idea of this addon, I've been using MoveIt for this purpose but that's really a "lesser of all evils" choice - an Ace style addon for the same purpose would remove a lot of hassle for me (particularly moving the same frames over and over again for every alt).

    One minor problem though - the frame that I *really* want to move doesn't seem to be moveable using moveFrames. I don't know the exact name of this frame, but it is the frame that displays messages such as "You have no target."; and by default resides in the top-middle area of the screen. I use the Aperture viewport addon to have a letterboxed style UI setup, and the frame in question is right over my agUF player frame, so that it's very hard to see my own current health while an error message is displayed in this frame.

    If this frame could be made moveable in a next version, I'd be delighted.

    Just discovered this addon and love it, does exactly what I need, nothing more, nothing less.

    Well, *almost* what I need - there is one feature I'm missing, namely the ability to display the amount of money I have on each character. Although there may be other addons that can do this as well, CharacterInfo seems to be exactly the sort of addon where this functionality would be appropriate. So consider this a feature request :-)

    (either that or I'm completely overlooking an already existing feature...)

    Thanks for your response. I've just installed Decursive and tried it out, it does seem like it'll be able to satisfy my immediate need in that I won't get yelled at for not removing curses anymore. But it does leave a lot to be desired compared to Detox. Fair enough, the unit frames can be turned off and it's not like those few bytes of memory will make any real difference. But a few things I really can't figure out how to do with Decursive (I'll assume they're not possible):
    - Show an icon on my FuBar to modify options rather than have to show the Decursive window (which seems to be tied to the screen location of the live list, not the place I'd want anything like that).
    - Show debuffs that I can't cure. In difficult fights I like to be able to see what's going on debuff-wise with the group or raid even when I can't cure all of them.
    - Turn off the coloured menu options - only a minor gripe but I really don't see what they're good for...

    And somewhat like you mention, I seem to see the same debuff twice some of the time - specifically, when I have my mouse over a player that's cursed, either in the game view or any unit frame.

    Maybe I should just take some time to familiarize myself with the WoW API & Ace and see if I can fix Detox myself...

    I totally second this. I mostly play a mage as well, and I use Grid to display curses I might need to remove. However since I don't normally keep an eye on it, I run Detox to pop up a window on an area of my screen where I can't miss it whenever someone is cursed, so that I can then take care of it through Grid. For me, Detox is the perfect solution to this problem, so I find it a real pity that the author has stopped caring and thinks this addon is basically obsolete.

    The issues I observe are pretty much the same as those reported by Morfik. One other thing I have observed is that if there's a hunter in the party, debuffs on their pet seem to be reported reliably unlike on the actual players, maybe this could provide a small clue to the actual cause of these issues? Also, Detox has missed debuffs on myself as well more than once, so I don't think this is purely about the group scanning.

    I don't have the experience or technical knowledge of the Ace libraries myself to be able to do anything useful here, but I would be eternally grateful if someone here can look at the issue and fix it if possible. If someone decides to give it a shot, I would also be more than willing to help with testing in any way I can - feel free to contact me on IRC, where I'm also known as Ironhand.

    Alternatively, does anyone know of an addon that can do what I want without having the bloat that comes with all the debuff removal addons I've seen so far? I really don't want another set of unit frames...

    I just noticed that SCL doesn't show everything the default combat log shows. I have checked every single option in the "Filters" and "Events" menus, which by my logic would show everything. However, when I turn off the "Suppress combat log" option so that I can compare what SCL is showing to what the normal combat log would show, I notice that lines related to my crafting items are not shown by SCL. For example, for the line:

    You create Heavy Netherweave Bandage

    SCL shows no equivalent line at all. This is the only difference I've noticed so far, there could be others. I'm assuming that this is a bug because the same thing *is* reported for other players than myself.

    (apologies if there's an official thread for the Ace2 version of SCL - I couldn't find it)

    One other problem I ran into in addition to the bug I described above is related to trading of items where multiple items/stacks are compressed into one slot. I really like having the option to show 10 stacks of conjured water as a single slot with "200" on it. However, when I actually want to trade these stacks out to someone with more than one at a time, I have to switch back to the non-compressed view. If I were to drag the "200" water icon into the trade window, one stack of 20 is placed in there, but I cannot drag it over there again to add a 2nd stack, since the icon is already greyed out. Would it be possible to improve this behaviour? I guess it would have to be something along the lines of a mechanism where the stack that gets shown as representing a number of compressed stacks gets swapped around with the next the moment this first stack is greyed out b/c it has been moved into a trade window. (if that makes sense)

    Excellent addon - installed it just today and I'm already loving it.

    Which makes me all the more sorry to say that I seem to keep running into an annoying bug. The Categories dialog seems to lock up in use every now and then, requiring a /reloadui to fix. I think I remember it happening with the Bags dialog too, but I'm not entirely sure there. When I say "lock up", I mean that the dialog can still be dragged around (in fact the entire dialog area seems to have become "draggable"), but the actual options in it no longer respond, nor are they hilighted on mouseover. The rest of the addon remains responsive, while clicking the "Categories" option in the addon menu doesn't change anything. There are no errors reported.

    My guild has in the past used Scenraid for DKP tracking, however I've been taking a serious look at DKPmon+Bidder lately and it seems to have a lot going for it.

    There are a few things about which I'm wondering whether DKPmon can do them, and how...
    - We currently award DKP partly based on actual time spent in a raid. Is there a way to do this automatically? Having to do this manually would be a serious hassle, especially with people who join the raid late or leave early.
    - Would it be easy to allow certain aspects of the system to work when not in a raid, but also simply between guild members? The ability to sync the database to other people in-game is a great timesaver, but the fact that (unless I misunderstood) those people have to be in a raid together for this to happen is a rather big limitation. Similarly, it would be extremely useful if guild members could take a look at their DKP standings through Bidder even when not in a raid.
    - Is it possible to let the winner for an item after bidding has closed default to the highest DKP bidder? 9 out of 10 times this will be the person to recieve the item, so this would save quite some time.
    - I notice that a lot of steps still have to actually be clicked manually, even if there is in many situations no reason not to do them. For example, it would be very useful if after assigning winners, a single action could broadcast the winners, subtract the DKP, and send the items to the player through the master looter functionality.
    - Are there pre-generated lists of reasonable item DKP values for various instances available, in a format compatible with DKPmon?
