Ehm, how do I get the viewport skinned like I see everybody has?
You must enable bottomframe (topframe) .../oskin bottomframe....and set height of it to the same value as viewport
Using the exact height didn't work for me, I suggest starting smaller and making little steps until you've got the right value.

Request for support for TrinketMenu along with ItemRack.
Frame names are TrinketMenu_Trinket0, TrinketMenu_Trinket1, TrinketMenu_Menu1 through to TrinketMenu_Menu30.
It currently supports (or has partial support for):
Oct 23, 2006Once every couple of days I do an update on my entire addons directory. The problem is when someone commits while I'm doing an update, it breaks the entire chain withPosted in: General Chat
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/wowace/!svn/bln/14956'
svn: No such revision 14956
I'm using linux command-line and I'm wondering if anyone knows a workaround, short of having the libraries as their own addons and running update with "--ignore externals"

Yes, the ... happens when ONLY oSkin is loaded. I tried it with a fresh install of the mod, deleted saved variables, only loaded it. Still there. Only happens in Windowed Mode Maximized. It actually affects more than just names I found out. Factions are listed with ... too.
Sounds like the game font you are using is too large for the restrictions the text is sitting in. Try disabling any in-game fonts or loading up with a shorter name, just to see if what I'm blathering on about is right.

is it possible to make Raid Frames standalone somehow?
The frames are created on demand, meaning if you don't have the player, pet, target, target of target and party frames enabled, they aren't using memory.
Sep 12, 2006I've voted for the wiki.Posted in: General AddOns
It is VERY easy to use a wiki struction to support addons under multiple categories. The author does need to take more responsibility to keep their wiki page updated, but it can be easier for end-users to find information. How many people here got lost in the 38 page ag_UnitFrames thread looking for information on the watchdog tags? Something like this would be PERFECT for the wiki.
I think having discussion/support threads for each addon on a per-need basis would still be required.
EDIT: Also, then we can get commit logs on the wiki pages as well, so I can see if <problem> with <addon> has been fixed or if I should look into doing it myself.
Sep 9, 2006I love the addon, has really cleaned up a lot of the clutter in most of the display. I only have a single issue.Posted in: General AddOns
The purpose of the addon is purely cosmetic, but it does change the default editbox behaviour by removing the alt-key requirements to move the cursor or scroll through the editbox history. For an addon that is only cosmetic, it seems that it shouldn't change any of the default UI mechanics. Now, I don't mind the default behavior, but there is no way to configure this behavior in-game or have it saved. Now, a "$svn up oSkin" will remove any changes I make to the lua itself.
I guess my point, is that I don't think a cosmetic addon should be changing default UI behavior without offering a way to configure that change in-game.
But awesome work on everything!
Aug 13, 2006I discovered this about 24 hours previous to the post, it is all related to the target frame with ABF layout.Posted in: Unit Frames
I was killing Tar Lords on my rogue for some living essence. The target health bar was changing colors between the default shade of red and what looks to be another shade of red (I'm sorry I can't be more specific, I'm colorblind). There also seemed to be a noticable delay between me doing damage to the mob and the healthbar updating.
As well, I can't reproduce this, but sometimes the ToT window does not appear/switch new targets, until I reselect the current mob.
I'm not sure other information you might need to help solve/find these issues.
