    posted a message on Grid2 vs Grid - a status update?

    A raid debuff plugin for Grid2 is already written.

    Woot! I love grid, but always need to add in the debuffs (which is pretty damn easy); such as Frost Blast, Stone Grip, Slag Pot etc... A premade addon would be fantastic.

    Cheers

    posted a message on Recount
    Just wondering if it is possible to access a recount variable in your own macros.

    For example I would like to make a resurrection script which states how many times the person has died.

    SendChatMessage(UnitName("target").." is being resurrected; their death count is currently "..RecountLookupDeathsOverall(UnitName("target"))", "SAY");
    /Cast Rez

    Have had a search on google and through forum to no avail.

    Thanks for the comments guys. Sounds like I need to keep working on locating dead bodies manually. I might have to learn about creating addon's too :)

    Keep up the good work; for the horde!

    Thank you for the reply. For the sake on another process:

    Select the body in Grid, Dead Bodies Mini-Map location is shown as an e.g. Orange color - and on a higher 'z' axis to any other of the usual 'Silver' circles which indicate player locations?

    As a Resto Druid I find it challenging to be able to locate dead bodies that need Battle Rezzing; especially in large raids. To combat that I was thinking of a process similar to this.

    Select the Dead person in the grid interface.
    An arrow comes up in centre of screen with directional information. This arrow will go brighter when you are in Range to cast Battle Rez.
    Click the arrow to cast Battle Rez

    Worthy?

    p.s. My apologies if this is already an addon or if there is a third party tool that does similar. I had a quick search of the forum.
