The version I uploaded today had some fundamental changes which I haven't tested, so your issue may be the same as the one above, or it may be related to the things I mucked around with today.

Tried to reproduce the description from the tailoring report above and failed. Similar problem, but not the same.

Oddly, the learned/total counter seems to be working correctly, just the list itself which is being populated oddly.

Here's a SS (if you can excuse the interface clutter).

Latest version: No errors, but low functionality. All it seems to want to do is output a list of recipes I already have. For enchanting, starting at runed copper rod and going on down the list.

The only thing that is actually unlearned by my enchanter is a 350 recipe, the nexus transformation.

    Any ideas?

EDIT: Seems to be the same thing as reported a few posts up with tailoring. I'll thrash around the saved settings for a bit. Thanks for the great addon! :)

I've had a quick read through this thread and I'm not entirely sure if I've missed this, but has anyone suggested a "reverse ARL" sort of functionality ?

Something along the lines of recipe tool tips listing the characters that could use the recipe. It becomes especially useful when storing things on alts, or using bank characters etc, you can simply mouse over a pattern/design/etc and it would list all of your characters (that had up to date ARL scans) that could use/need said pattern ?

Especially frustrating for me atm as I have a stack of cooking patterns on a bank character, which I have to mail to each of my alts in turn, learning all they can, then passing them onto the next, to work out which characters need what.

Sorry if this is a repeated idea, or there is another addon that does it already, but I thought it would be a very useful feature for ARL if you feel so inclined to add it.

    Regards.

You want Altaholic. It does exactly this and more.

Paladin's seal of blood (for horde) is recording the damage done by the self-damage component on both incoming and outgoing now.

Reading the combat log, it is obvious why this is. The damage for seal of blood is not distinctive between target and self.

Maybe an category for "self damage" is needed?

    Thanks!

    fixed in r79048

It does not keep track of that.
I seperated the events, because reactive skills can become spammy (e.g. on prot-pally I suppose).

    Will try it out. Thanks.

EDIT: Everything seems to be working well. I still need to check warrior triggers though, but they've always been kinda flaky. Shaman earth shock doesn't seem to be triggering an interrupt event however. Everything else seems to be working well!

EDITEDIT: Earth shock is triggering an interrupt sometimes. Not sure why it doesn't' on all spell interrupts. Will test it further.

The mob "Wrathguard" in Hellfire Peninsula has a flame wave spell. For some reason interrupting it with earth shock doesn't fire an event. Other mobs and spells seem fine. *shrug* If it is that isolated, probably not worth fixing. For all I know, it always was like that.

There's no need trying to fix something that works.

This is a graphics engine bug. I can't do a thing about it. Check your graphic card drivers, and report to Blizzard if it does not fix this.

Well, I was unsure due to the posting dates. Work well it does, very well in fact!

Drivers, hm? That wouldn't be surprising at all. The bug presented itself on a mac, which makes the drivers a bit hard to diagnose. I'll try it on win32 and see what sorts of results are had.

Thanks for your quick reply, and for a really handy addon. :)

Is this addon still being maintained?

    If so, Bug report time.

DISPLAY BUG: After switching from full screen/maximized to windowed mode, all talent "arrows" to show linked talents are blacked out. Black box around the arrow dimensions. Like the black magic marker on censored documents, if you could imagine it.

A reloadui clears it, until the next window resize. Function doesn't seem to be affected, just the visual presentation.

    Thanks!

Comment about the damage shield implementation.

Ok, i'm hoping i'm just crazy, so if someone could correct me I would appreciate it. On my druid, I use the thorns ability, extra damage to attackers, etc.

The way that parrot presents the damage done is a tad confusing. It shows in the outgoing area, as it is outgoing, IE, damage. However, it displays as incoming damage would, with my character name and negative damage. I looked at the "Reactive Skills" event, which it seems to be, but the tag tooltip doesn't seem to line up. The [name] tag is catching my name, not the enemy or the ability name.

It makes the most sense to me to show the ability name. If someone could point me in the right direction to adjust the tag format, that would be very nice.

Did the way that reactive abilities are handled by the combat log change somewhere along the line? I'm unclear why they should be different then any other sort of damage, *unless* parrot, recount, etc, can keep track of who's damage aura did what. Example: If in a group, the druid puts thorns on everyone, the druid is credited with the damage done by those thorns.

Anyway. Sorry to ramble on. Going to load up an older version and test it out, to see if my memory is just totally shot :p

EDIT: Confirmed mana/energy gains returned (as far as I can tell).

Shaman grounding totem however doesn't seem to register. Before it would read out the damage the "pet" took/absorbed. Offensive and other defensive totems still read out, not sure what category grounding totem would be in. Pet spell incoming?

Not sure if anyone else has seen this .. but looks like ck has released the new version of Parrot.

    http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/13185/

    Or am I mistaken..

If you hit the changes tab there, I think it's saying that it's just this version, uploaded on another site.

For the last two days, mana gains (life tap, fel energy, mana from spriests) are no longer showing up.

Same here, made tanking interesting without any mana notes on my pally.

Will check out reasons and report back.

EDIT: As the post above reported, a huge block towards the bottom of combatevents.lua seems to be commented out. Was this functionality moved elsewhere, and not activated perhaps?

    Hey all.

Ran into a minor display bug that i'm not sure what to make of. The tooltip addition (which is brilliant, by the way) showing how many of the item are held in bags, bank, etc., experiences on some items a 'doubling'. That is to say... Well, lets see if I can replicate this.

Some toon: 1 bag, 7 bank
    Some guild bank: 15

Some toon: 1 bag, 7 bank
    Some guild bank: 15

That looks about right. It shows up exactly twice for some reason. And not on every item, it actually only seems to show up on certain gathered herbalism mats.

I'll get some screenshots together, but I just wanted to give a heads up while I was thinking of it.

    Thanks!

The icon cannot be dragged indeed, but that's because this isn't implemented, I'll do that as soon as I find out how (my knowledge of fubar is extremely limited, and I haven't had/taken the time to learn it in detail).

The right-click menu should be working though, I implemented this quite recently, and it's still working in this version. Could you use it before the last update ?

Ok, I just tried this on my local install, and it works fine. Right click, drag, left/right/center, etc... So I didn't know it wasn't supposed to work. If you need any info, lemme know if I can help with why it works.

Either that or I misunderstood the question. ><

you wouldn't believe how i get it to not stop. i actually solved the issue with the last update, but in my attempt to make my solution sane, i broke it again.

here's what i learned about it:
it turns out if you call the blizzard native show tradeskill routine, then everything is fine. trunk skillet and atsw actually display the blizzard ui, but it's scaled way down and made 100% transparent. however, it still takes up a ui slot (and force another ui panel to close or move over) and sometimes you can still hit the invisible buttons. my original solution was to simply not show the blizzard ui -- i would just hardwire the show routine to an empty function -- but this caused the problem of the 2nd skill up breaking the tradeskill repeat.
(incidentally, it only would happen once -- if you reload the ui, then it'll do it again, but if you simply click pause then click on the queue'd recipe (or otherwise force a redraw) then everything runs fine from that point on.)
last update, i thought i had narrowed down the issue to a particular few lines of code, but i was mistaken i guess. so now, i just left in the all the code from the tradeskill show routine -- all but the actual part that shows the standard ui panel.

it sounds like some sort of initialization issue, but i have absolutely no idea why it works this way.

Sounds like "good enough" coding from the UI guys at blizz. Anyway, Kudos for stomping it!

Tradeskill stop seems killed and dead at long last. *dances on its mangled corpse*

Knock on wood that is.. Smelting up a mountain of ore as we speak.

    Looking good! *thumbs up*

Was getting triggers on my hunter where I wasn't before, lets hope they crossed over to warr/rogue too ^_^

EDIT: And, I spoke too soon. Following todays update, no more mongoose bite trigger. Blah. No free time to debug/test either :( Will try and trace code as soon as I get a chance.
