FuBar is FuBar 3.0; FuBar2 is an old version of FuBar (2.0) which is unmaintained and unsupported. FuBar2 mainly exists for political reasons. Normal users should just download FuBar.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. This topic can be lock imo.

posted a message on Fubar or Fubar2 ?
Hello, I am currently creating a new UI from scratch. I'll be using Eepanels2 and a lot of other Ace addons (love ace updater).

Anyways, I just desided to play around with Eepanels2 first and now I am down to default blizzard UI. Now I wanted to start with installing Fubar and I notished when downloading the newest version that there is a Fubar and a Fubar2 download.

My question: What is the difference between Fubar 1 and 2? Also why does Fubar2 have an installer.exe?

    Thanks for the help.

    1. Yeah, something like that, though is it Ace?

    2. Yes, that is what I needed, thanks.

    3. Bagnon is no Ace mod or is it?

    4. nDragIt is what I mean, I want to move stuff when it gets in the way.

Thanks for the reply, btw I want only ace addons because that is easy updating with AceUpdater, though it doesn't work atm, I get an error message. Looking into that atm.

Edit: I used the wrong file or something, it works fine!

Thanks for the replies, it's starting to look like something now, but I am looking for a few things.

    1. An inspect mod (I used to have SuperInspect before).

    2. An Arena mod that shows the enemies in a frame, with health and name, etc.

    3. A good bagg mod, not baggings, had it but I do not really like it.

    4. A mod that moves everything, character screen, quest screen, etc.

    That's it for now.

    3. Work how? There are no conflicts between any that I know of... Why would Ace2 "recognize" them and what would it do if it did? o.O

What I mean is that it comes up in the addon list from Ace2. The one that pops up when you rightclick on Fubar.

    Well it is starting to look like something, but I have a few questions;

    1. what is the best unit frame addon? I am looking for a minimalistic one where I can configure size of every bar (health, mana, caster, etc).

    2. I downloaded Quartz and I love the Buff style for target and focus, but is there a (quartz) addon that has that buff style for my own buffs (or is it in quartz allready)?

    3. Discord mods work with Ace mods? Does Ace recognize them etc?

    Hello,

I am new to this forum but that doesn't matter.

I have been using MazzleUI for a very long time (since the public release of 1.0 I think) and I love this interface. Only since patch 2.2 it's a little bit screwed again. Also the loading time is like way to long (imo). Link to MazzleUI: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info6311-MazzleUI.html

So I decided to build myself a new UI. I am not a programmer or something and for me "building a UI" means downloading addons and installing them and ingame setting up the right settings.

The problem is I have absolutly no idea where to start, I want my interface to look a bit like MazzleUI, everything (accept FuBar) at the bottom of the screen. I want to build it with Ace addons since you can update them easily with AceUpdater.

My idea for my interface is that it is minimalistic and low memory use etc.

So I request some help and starter tips, what is needed, where to start etc. Ones I got the beginning, I can work things out on my own.

    Thanks allready,

    Joene.
