    Using the call function works for the main window.

    How do you do the call for the detail window?

    /recount report detail Instance_chat ... was not recognized.

    What is the command to type into a macro for reporting results to a group channel?

    Since they changed the blue party chat channel to orange instance chat channel, I have been unable to make a macro to report the main window to the "party" channel.

    Neither tell it to dump the info into the group channel.

    /recount report main party

    or

    /recount report main instance

    Which Addon Replaced sw-stats?

    Anyone remember the addon sw-stats? It recorded the combat log for its display in a tiny guii for analysis--tight and simple. It was a handy tool for pinpointing which spells and abilities were most effective.

    Their website is http://forums.sw-stats.com/ although it seems inactive since WoW 2.4. with no closing entries.

    Fortress can make a custom bar of icons or text; once got it to save to default profile instead of per character out of the box copied that across all characters for the "playing around with it" process then maybe save further customization back to the individual character names, of course, I do not mind the spaces where an addon loaded on one is not on another just to keep the consistency not breaking up the default.

    Using funkydudes StatBlock_Memory a Data Broker plugin for displaying memory usage, also has a tooltip for per addon usage, and garbage collect.
    Other StatBlock_plugins for ammo, folks, fps, latency...simple and tight.

    Wouldn't AddonLoader force it to load at the appropriate time?

    Changed the 1 to a 0 in "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\FuBar_RestFu\FuBar_RestFu.toc" this section:

    With FuBar2Broker and the minature fubar stub installed, FuBar_RestFu works in Fortress after manually loading on demand each login through Addon Control Panel.

    How would that be edited to auto-load without installing Fubar in full?

    RestFu lists all characters' rest state.

    I found a new addon updater. If you don't like the ones that are out there now, I suggest you use this on.

    lol. That's exactly what I been doing too. This manual stuff has really tuned me back into this essential side of WoW.

    As a side note, HandyNotes opted not to allow you to key in a x,y coordinate directly because you can Ctrl-Shift-Drag the note anywhere you want after creating it (this handytip is in the right click menu of the handynotes note). In Cartographer_Notes, you could only move a note by editing its x and y coordinate, which was unwieldy.

    Agree with that can maybe drag them on top of the cart2 notes after since creating new on top of them doesn't work. The pain is going to be flipping that default map on and off as the handynotes new note popup isn't "always on top".

    Am thankful cart2 still loads up enough for now to get this done, and I'll cut her loose. Haven't many just some personals. Sure beats mounds of lost paper notes.

    There really needs to be now.

    I brought up the suggestion for a Cartographer_Notes importer several months ago. Now, with Cartographer2 not fully WOTLK compatible (as of the most recent r2.2) and on its last, shaky legs, other options--such as HandyNotes--are more appealing...

    Quote from Ydrisselle
    There isn't any import module from Cartographer_Notes for HandyNotes - so your notes won't appear on your map...

    Seeing that Zidomo filed a ticket on this also.

    Doing a transition from cart2 notes to handynotes eventually cart3.
    Where do these bracketed location numbers come from?

    In cart2 lua file a note is numbered 60009380 in a zone
    ["Ironforge"] = {
                            [60009380] = {
                                = "6 Guild Bank Slots 100,250,500,1000,2500,5000 9350 total",
                            },
    Fired up handynotes creating a new note of the same about where the cart2 one used to be; its lua file numbered it 34675956
    ["Ironforge"] = {
                [34675956] = {
                    = "6 Guild Bank Slots 100,250,500,1000,2500,5000 9350 total",
                },
    Typing cart2's 60009380 number over handynotes' number in bracket, it set the note location on the very south of the zone just inside the border. So obviously cannot just replace the bracketed numbers of location in the lua file.

    Now looking at running car2 notes and handynotes together. Cart2 to see them and handynotes to write them.

    The create handynote window comes up behind the large open default wow map; have to close this every time you want to write in handynotes create note box. Loaded cart2's look and feel to ease this and found the map will not zoom or even click out of the zone--so that's out.

    Still not going to get a pinpoint location cause cart2 note create pops up if you try to create a handynote on top of it AND there is no editable x,y coordinate fields to edit on handynotes.

    The good news. It appears cart3 notes is using the same numbering as handynotes. Typed the same note in cart3 noticing it was a couple digits off so edited number in brackets to match. The location dot in game was spot on.
    ["Ironforge"] = {
                    [34675956] = {
                        = "6 Guild Bank Slots 100,250,500,1000,2500,5000 9350 total",
                    },

    Question on Affliction Filtering.

    Under "add a recent affliction" shows a list of the curse/disease names. Is there the description of what each does to a player captured somewhere to help determine which class to skip configuring this?

    one said curse of blood, for example, now out of combat I cannot remember what that one affected.

    Since logging out and now back in notice the recent affliction list is gone. Which file was that?

    Would like to have added them all..hunted and picked through the descriptions to configure the classes

    The mouseover descriptions of debuffs in combat...Are these in any way captured for help configuring the filters?
