My apologies if I missed the answer to this somewhere in the many pages, but on the first post it is mentioned that "FuBar_RoutesFu" would work with Routes, but I can't seem to get it working. If I don't have Cartographer installed (removed cart and replaced it with the routes+gathermate+mapster combo) then "FuBar_RoutesFu" just throws me all sorts of errors and doesn't load.
Okay, I just uploaded the fixes and new features. For those who use MobMap, you'll now have a very nice feature available to you automatically -- updating of mob tooltips with mob quest objectives based on the MobMap drop table for that mob! Other new features include font outline option, disabling mob tooltip processing while raiding, and preventing the minion from moving off screen. Alright, time to get some sleep!
Can anyone tell me what MobMap is, and where I should get it from? I've never heard of it before and it doesn't seem to be in the WoWAce files.
Just remember that you shouldn't judge Rock, an addon programming framework (something I'm guessing you know nothing about) based on its configuration.
Actually I spent nearly 15 years as a programmer. I did not however ever look into Rocks code.
Edit: And it's "Rock" not "ROCK". (Oh god.)

You'll note I said Rock every time in my main post. I only called it ROCK in the subject to be clear I was talking about the library and not those things you stub your toe on. Same With Ace. I called it Ace not ACE.
Would it be possible to get an option to display a dummy bar on demand? So that when setting up new UIs you don't have to fly around everywhere while trying out display options.
This is somethign I wish more AddOns would consider.
You are looking at things that frankly you aren't used to looking at. The files on this website and in the updater are whats called SVN files, or source repository files. That means they are the live source that is being worked on. If the developer does anything to the file, it shows as changed. Even if all they do is change a line or two around.
This is how developers work, but as the end user you don't normally see this. WoWAce is different in that you have access to these developer files, but that does not mean you need to update every time something changes. In fact you shouldn't unless you are told to update to fix a specific issue.
Otherwise just update when a release is announced, a patch comes down, or every week or so.
Right-click your minion and you can check off what you want to see or not.
I've checked off everythign I can. What i'm asking is for some more of the SmartVisibility behaviour to help me save space even more. This feature rocks and does a good job, but if it could do a little more I could save half or more of my minion space.
As in automatically "unchecking" it from nQuestLog's quest list so it isn't shown once its objectives are complete? Just need to clarify this. Thanks.
Yeah I think so. Basically hide the quest.
Another thing that would be nice -- I like the autofolding of zones, but could it be taken a step further with an option to completely hide the zone? Right now it folds the zone down showing just the name if you aren't in that area, but i'd like the name gone as well.
What it really comes down to is I just HAVE to have my tracker there since I spend all day questing like mad, but i'm also always running with a full quest log. Anything I can do to make it take up less room is golden to me.
I REALLY love this AddOn except for one issue, and that is it doesn't handle the display of a very large mailbox very well.
I tend to use my mailbox as a bank overflow, as do a lot of people I think, but when you have a lot of stuff in your mail box, this display creates one very large window that grows BEYOND the screen and then I can't get at any of the controls.
Yes same for me as well. Something either is bad in this latest version or on the servers or something. It just stopped workign out of the blue for many people.
First of all, multiple copies is OK because the AddOn system is smart enough to only have one loaded in memory.
Secondly, you have the ability to run WITH externals or WITHOUT. I don't know exactly how it all works, but i'm fairly certain you have the ability to do it the way you say.
Not sure if this falls under the same bad mathcing problems.. But I noticed today that it was misidentifying mobs for me as well. For example, I have to kill "Elder Stranglethorn Tiger"s, yet when I mouseover "Stranglethorn Tiger" I get the tooltip saying that I need them for the quest which of course is incorrect.

If this feature is already in, I apologize. I looked for it late last night thinking it would be there but couldn't find it.

Any way to fix this?

It just won't refresh. And won't display the list of installed/all addons. Its just blank.
