First of all, its a "Load on Demand" addon. I'm using the addon Supply&Demand which seems to be the way to go to load such addons in game with a single click - but I don't really know how it would work otherwise. Once you managed to load telSupport, you should see a new icon in your FuBar. Right click it, choose "event handlers". From this moment tekSupport will track all functions bing called by all addons and save the amount of time spent in each function, and how often it was called. Now go into combat or do whatever you need to reduce the FPS, then hover over the FuBar icon and you'll see a nice table with all the functions being called, plus their stats. Make a screenshot and post it here, or write down if you see anything that's standing out.

    Hope that helps.

    Yes, it does, thanks. :)
Unfortunately this weeks kazzy time is over, I am gonna run it next time. Although I disabled GridSideIndicators and GridLayoutforHealers and enabled them again to check that out. The lag actually does not come from Grid at all, my mistake.
GridLayoutforHealers is whats causing this mess. As soon as I disabled this, the whole thing was running very smooth again. Gonna run the addon on Thursday and post the output in the appropiate thread.

    thx for the help.

Just installed teksupport and it shows in my addon listing, but I am a bit clueless when it how to use the addon. I looked up the page on wowace-wiki, but did not find any commands and I am not much of a programmer myself. /teksupport or /ts does not work at least. :)

maybe it just saves the stuff in some folder? what exactly do you want me to do with it?

alright, will do that. and slightly lower fps is np. as i said, i used grid on other fps intensive fights and it was always fine. what i am talking about here is being able to cast one greater heal in 5-6s by just spamming the keybinding. my screen totally freezes and jumps forward. as soon as i disable grid, its gone.

kazzy does thunderclap and shadow bolt volleys, but nothing fancy. its pretty much the old mob.

    hey guys

When using Grid on the TBC outdoor bosses (kazzak, doomwalker) I experience insane fps lag. Doomwalker is barely playable, kazzak is not. I zoom in as far as possible, stare into the ground and still have 2-3 fps. After putting Grid on standby, my fps goes up to 50-55, also when zoomed out and seeing all 40 persons etc. My computer is quite decent, that is not the problem.
I don't have any fps problems in other instances. I used Grid just fine at Thaddius etc, no fps lag at all. But especially at Kazzak, something goes seriously wrong and it's instantly fixed when disabling Grid. Other persons in my guild using Grid have the same problem, just in those encounters.

I'm using Grid, GridLayoutforHealers, GridSideIndicators and GridStatusHots. For now I just installed SRaidframes and switch to that for those two encounters, but I'd much rather stay with Grid.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I wonder if it is possible to add the groupe number for the buff check. Normally, as a raid leader, I assigne group buff to special people but when there are some dead people and I check the buff missing we have to look for the missing person in the whole raid. So the groupe number would a good idea for me :)

if you hover over the missing buff count, you see names + group number. if you shift + left click while promoted in a raid, you paste it to raid chat with who is missing the buff and in which group. enough to slap around the slackers. :)

question on another topic: is it possible to enable XRS in a normal 5 person party? i don't use party frames, just Grid and i'd like to see missing buffs/party mana somehow.

as XRS already uses an intelligent targeting for buffing, i was wondering if its possible to use the addon to cast ressurect as well? i have a bar for death count and would love to be able to click that bar (out of combat ofc) and res ppl, preferrably with a smart (as in ressers > buffers > mana users > melee) targeting.

    oh and awesome addon. :)

    happy new year.

don't think its a good idea to use umlauts in the location file. at least messes up the file for me, i'd go with ae, oe, ue instead.

yeah, i had issues with the range checking today too, using version 20076. ppl that clearly were in range (and also were in range last 30s+) were faded out. range check set to 40y, frequency 0.5. anyway, i just put the alpha higher so i still saw stuff when i knew they have to be in range. still helps a LOT in pvp and on 4h/sapph/kt where healing range actually matters a lot. very, very happy with the addon, thx, great job. :)

    one suggestion though:
would it be possible to merge windows in sort by class? i really dislike having to reposition my windows when the raid setup changes. ideally i'd want 3 windows, like this:

    (melee) (rangeddps) (healers)
    warriors mages priests
    rogues warlocks druids
    hunters shamans/paladins

i dunno if thats easy to implement. aguf can do it, but its not done very well as it mixes up the classes. keeping the structure like this with a sort of class > alphabetical name would be awesome. RDX does it fine, but atm i am very happy with sraidframes + ora2.

    hey

i was toying around with grid as i extremely like the idea, but having two issues:

in sort by class mode, it leaves an empty column for paladins (i am horde, so prolly vice versa for alliance). is it possible to remove that? it looks stupid and also means the window is unnecessairily big.

again in sort by class mode it would be really, really good if you could configure the class order. default is something like warrior, priest, druid, ..., rogue. healing wise it should be warrior, rogue, mage, warlock etc so that you have the classes that actually take the most dmg closest to each other.

i looked through description and the config panel for quite some time and tried to sort that out, but did not find anything to remove the paladin frame or change the sort in sort by class.
