AFAIK, there is no current Ace2 auto-invite module. oRA2 has that capability, but it requires you to invite another player and form a raid before it is active, so you can't use it for getting a 5-player group together.
What would be ideal is an Automaton module that allowed me to set a keyword and then say in guild "Whisper keyword to me for auto-invites".
An option to only invite people in guild vs. the general public would be nice, as well as an auto-reply that told people if they're currently grouped and need to disband before they can get invites.
Any chance of this making it into Automaton?

Would it be possible to enable the invite keyword without being in a group like in CT_Raid?
Just invite one person, form raid, and go.
I'd like to second this request - perhaps in an Automaton module if not here. Nurfed has a keyword feature that can be used for getting groups of 2-5 together, and it's really handy. We use it all the time for getting instance groups together within guild.... "/g pst manatomb to me if you're in for a run" is pretty typical.
The fact that oRA doesn't enable the auto-invite until you're in a raid group makes it useless for these sorts of things, and it seems that there's no Ace2 addon that does this. I can see why you might not want to add it to oRA, but is there another place we could find this functionality?

Much needed feature: Force logout. Really needed for when you are attempting a boss like Loethab or Gothik and someone goes afk (not a dumbass, but an emergency) and doesn't get back and you are wasting flask/pot time. We usually have people ready to join the raid and log in but they can't because someone is in the instance afk.
Seconded. RDX does this, and I wish CTRA did too. But there's not reason oRA2 can't be (even more) better than CTRA, right?

- visible: always/grouped
Just adding another vote for "Frame: fixed size" or something like that.
As others have posted, I have a corner of the UI saved for Squishy and it's sized for a full Squishy list. It may as well stay at that size all the time, the resizing is just wasted cycles in this setup.
Thanks for a great mod!

Just target the boss or mob that your fighting to see who has aggro.
Or double press [F] (Once to assit the tank, ie select the mob. Another to assist the mob, ie target the person who has aggro.)
Trying to go down the chain of targets that many times and keep a frame updated is overkill IMO.
I think a lot of people don't understand how useful ToTT is for healers.
As a healer, I target the tank, I see the boss that he's tanking in ToT, and ToTT shows me the boss looking back at the tank. If I see the boss's target change, I do a quick double-assist and I'm on the new agro target. It's really almost essential.
I did a patch to add this into oUF and posted it a while ago in this thread... look here for it; it should still work with the latest version.
If you have trouble with it, let me know and I can cut a patch against the latest version.
Haste: Please, please, please merge this into svn? It makes life as a healer soooo much easier.
Aug 5, 2006Just noticed the checkins over dualling EOL styles. Did you guys know you can set svn up so that it automatically fixes it?Posted in: Unit Frames
Go to the config file for your installation (\documents and settings\(user name)\Application Data\Subversion\config on a windows box) and add the following line in the auto-props section (down at the bottom by default):
*.lua = svn:eol-style=native
You shouldn't have to fight with EOL style after that; it'll auto convert on co/ci.
Jul 30, 2006Probably related to the minimap problems, I'm seeing the same thing with Discord Action Bars.Posted in: FuBar AddOns
With 1.2 and a single panel at the bottom of the screen, it would automatically bump my action bars up by the width of the panel.
With 2.0 and the same setup, FuBar appears on top of my action buttons, and the buttons are not moved up from the bottom edge of the screen.
Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to help debug it. And thanks to all you Ace coders for a great bunch of mods!
Jul 19, 2006I didn't get a chance to pull it down before our raid last night, so I'll test it on Thursday night.Posted in: General AddOns
I did have a bit of trouble finding it, either I misread the URL above or it's different for anonymous checkout. Anyhow, I had to use the URL:
to get a copy. I'll let you know how it works.

Not sure if its just me but my "Display Party in Raids" option in Interface Options doesn't save EVER heh, little annoying I have to uncheck it every time I log. Is this a oUF prob or Blizz...
it saves just fine here.
I had the same thing happen in raid last night... party frame disappeared for some reason. I didn't have time to troubleshoot it, but I'll try and do that if it happens again.

I built another module to add "target of target's target" aka ToTT. Attached are two minor patch files and a .zip with the module. Please review and modify/commit/discard as you see fit. :)
I've attributed this to you, since it's really just copy/paste of your code. Thanks for the mod!
Jul 13, 2006First of, thanks for a very nice unit frame mod!Posted in: Unit Frames
I've made a minor mod to add "current" and "max/missing" display options. My main is a priest, and I find these useful for healing, so I thought I'd contribute the change back. If you want changes in some format other than patchfiles, let me know.
If you're OK with this, I have a slightly more invasive patch to add "Target of Target's Target" as another little oUF module.
