Read the documentation - there is a "DogTag help" button on the config page I mentioned, or just type /dog to open it up. It tells you all the neat tags you can use, including an entire section on cast-related tags.

The reason it "displayed fine before" is that the old cast bar text wasn't using DogTag at all; it's since been converted to use DogTags since they're much more flexible (people were always asking for configurable cast text).

I guess this is an issue with the DogTags then. The only tag that seems to be related to spell names, [CastName], returns 'Channeling' for any channeled spell, whereas the old cast bar would show the actual spell name.

Yes, but I don't see any way to make it display the name of a spell being channeled. Non-channeled spells show up fine, even instants if I'm looking closely. Is this more likely a problem from something other than Pitbull, or is there a tag that isn't in the documentation that'll force it to display the spell name for a channeled spell? It displayed fine before I updated.

I just updated after not having done so for about a month, and now when I'm channeling something it shows up on the cast bar as "Channeling (<Target>)" instead of the spell name like it used to, and I can't find any options or anything to get it back the way it was. I can't seem to find anything about this problem anywhere else either. Anyone know what happened?

posted a message on Pitbull: Layouts missing?
I just went somewhere between one and two months without updating my addons (lazy, I know), when so when I finally did update today I found pitbull a bit different from what I had it set for previously. In tinkering around with it to get it back how I had it, I discovered that the only layout available to me was ABF. Which would be fine, since that's what I used, except it's NOT ABF. I don't know what it is exactly, but it has the health and power bars side-by-side instead of stacked.

So I have one layout option where I had several before, and it isn't what it says it is. All of my frames still have the layout they had before except for my target frame, which was the one I was tinkering with (auras were showing up on the wrong side and so on). I've tried reinstalling Pitbull, uninstalling and resintalling, and I tried taking my WTF folder out, all to absolutely no avail, and I didn't find anything useful when I did some searching around on this board, though I could have just been searching for the wrong keywords. Any ideas?
