posted a message on Bartender3 - Action Bar AddOn for WoW 2.0
Is it possible to disable/enable(toggle) a specific Bar in Bartender3 through a macro?

I tried looking through the code, and I think I find the part aboout enabling/disabling the bars - but there's so many sections that I'm getting confused when trying to create the macro script:

function Bartender3:SetupDefaults()
self.defaults = {
Bars = {
['**'] = {
Rows = 1,
Padding = 0,
Scale = 1,
Alpha = 1,
Hide = false,
Enabled = true,
Buttons = 12,
StatesEnabled = false,
ShowGrid = false,
Style = "Dreamlayout",
States = {},
Stances = {},
HideHotkey = false,
HideMacrotext = false,
FadeOut = false,
},
[1] = {
StatesEnabled = true,
},
[2] = {
Enabled = false,
},
[3] = {
Rows = 12,
},
[4] = {
Rows = 12,
},
[5] = {
},
[6] = {
},
[7] = {
Enabled = false,
},
[8] = {
Enabled = false,
},
[9] = {
Enabled = false,
},
[10] = {
Enabled = false,
},
},

I made a FuBar icon, not sure if that's what you want - but still! I tried to keep it simple, as it's an icon after all.

I'm really happy to see you back, Sirow - Happy Coding!

Edit: TGA files not allowed - so I'm forced to upload the png :(

Really beautifull *__*

How can you set the clock at this position, and with this font plz ? And what is the font of the chat ?

And what is your unitframe ? ^^

Thanks

First of all, thanks.

Hehe, well to customize the font it really helps a lot if you're able to just "read" the lua code of the addon (CML). When you open the LUA file then you can see there's some viables called posX and posY, that's basicly the X, Y Positions for the Clock - so basicly just open the lua file, then edit the viables and then save the lua file and then do: /console reloadui ingame - until you got it at the position you want. To change the font of the clock make sure you got ClearFont installed, after that - then make a folder called 'Fonts' in your World of Warcraft folder. Now go download the font called Haettenschweiler. When you downloaded the font file then rename it to: skurri.ttf and put it into the 'Fonts' folder.

The unitframes is actually IceHUD, with a "texture" made by myself - so it basicly got turned into straight bars, and then ofc repositioned it so it fits for the UI.

posted a message on eePanels2 - Official Thread
I just noticed the thread today, wow you're getting me horny to get home and try it out.

eePanels is in my eyes one of the best addons ever made, even tho it doesn't directly have impact on your game performance, but the addons is just so open and so super customizable, which is the guy for hardcore UI designers. I love tweaking my UI, which means I'm a HUGE fan of eePanels. I never replied in the eePanel(1) thread as just expect my 'thx'-comment to get blured out in the masses of of replies - so here it goes! Thanks a lot EE, for making this amazing mod.

Also the new LUA scripting sounds amazingly nice, which is exactly what I wanted.

Oooh, I can't wait to test it - thanks again.

posted a message on Movement
Hello.

Example of Addon:
As I was reconfiguring my UI today, and as usual Parenting my eePanels - while doing that a thought came up into my mind. Wouldn't it be possible to make a mod that create some kind of invisible boxes, which you should be able to control. Basicly invisible boxes that moves from (x1,y1) to (x2, y2) on Event. Fx. You're entering combat, the invisible box moves from (x1,y1) to (x2, y2) and it takes X amount of seconds. So you should able to use these invisible boxes as parents for your eePanels.

The reason:
I really lack this option of having moving frames on Events, Why?
Simply because you don't focus on the same thing at all times. As discussed in the huge thread on Elitist Jerks forums about designing UI - the overall concluction is that important information should be centered in/of your screen. When you're standing AFK in Shatt completely ungrouped and bored - what I mainly focus on in such a situation is the chat, so I want that centered and "in focus". While I'm raiding tho, as a healer I want my Raid frames to be "in focus" though I still want the chat, but not as highest priority - so if I was able to push the chat to the side and put the raidframes in focus, that would increase my effectivity.

As I'm not able to code LUA myself (only done simple HTML and a bit of ActionScript in Flash), I would like to share this idea - in hope for developer will take this idea up and hopefully solve this problem by an addon. Make sure you don't misunderstand this, I'm not sitting as a kid on my lazy fatass and screaming "I want I want" as of course I'm not demanding this addon, I'm just trying to highlight this problem and hopefully some with the ability to solve the problem, will.

Thanks for reading.

posted a message on IceHUD
As I want to use my IceHUD as base unitframe (for myself), how can I enable so I'm able to target myself through the hud? I've searched here on the forums and couldn't find an answer - so I decided to post.

The bar position options are a bit... strangely worded, but to get the mana bar on top, change the mana bar position to "health bar" and the health bar position to "mana bar".

Do'h, thanks a lot

As I wrote earlier in the thread, I would love a vertical function for the bars - but after dreaming about my new UI (which includes vertical bars), I thought of a function that would allowed health/mana bar to swap postion so it would look like this:

---------------------------
Kozu 9k
mana bar
---------------------------
8k
---------------------------

I never noticed this addon on files.wowace.com, but wow... I just tried it, that's really what I would define Beyond Godlike. Freaking awesome addon, I really hope you'll keep it alive. I really miss a expand downwards function aswell :)

Hello,

I'm quite new to these boards - so I never got to say thanks for PitBull, thanks a lot for making this amazing addon.

Yesterday I was drawing some skechtes for my new UI, which is indeed to have vertically growing health bar (like base settings for grid), I've been googling to try finding some help - but I couldn't, so now I'm here asking all the coders if it's possible to implement this feature?

Thanks, Kozu

posted a message on PallyPower - hide/show?
Hello there,

First of all I want to make clear that I'm not a coder myself, which is why I seek your help - as I got an annoying problem to deal with these days. I'm Bloof Elf Paladin and as every other paladin, I use PallyPower for buffing in raids. I would define myself as rather "hardcore" UI maker and really put a lot of work into making my UI look as I want to. I've from screenshots from here (forum) formed an UI that I really love, everything is configured - except one thing. My huge PallyPower frame, which I ofcourse hate, as I can't configure it to make it look like I want. I've accepted the fact that I can't change the looks on the PallyPower frame, but I came up with another idea, that might be possible - which is why I'm here, and asking you!

[Keep in mind that I'm no coder, only a softcore lua editor]

Is it possible to add some kind of function so the PallyPower frame only shows when you mouseover?

After been playing around with parenting in eePanels, and seeing that it can register the PallyPower frame through my macro [/print GetMouseFocus():GetName()] - then I got the hope of it might be possible in some way to hide/show that frame when mouseovered?

Thanks a lot for your help,
and to the developers: Thanks for the amazing mods you manage to create :)
