After an item drops couldn't you just ask in raid chat that people send you a message expressing interest including a link to the item they're upgrading from? Seems a whole lot easier to get the information first hand from the people that want the loot and are present, rather than trying to maintain an up-to-date database of same.
You can't definitively determine who the target of someone's spellcast is. You can guess that most of the time they'll be casting on their current target... but you won't always be correct. If they're hostile you'll need to have them targeted in some way to be able to know who they are targeting too (need to have them targeted / set as focus / targeted by a party member / etc).
Ran into an issue last night with pallypower compatibility involving being the extra paladin outside the instance to throw an extra set of blessings up before people zone in for a particular boss. Essentially I'm the only paladin in my new guild who uses ZOMGbuffs (to my knowledge anyway) and the paladin who was promoted for setting up pally power couldn't get any blessing assignments to stick for me so long as I was in group 8 (blessingmanager module set to 5 group mode). Everything he changed would seemingly get auto-swapped back... probably by ZOMGbuffs but I can't really be 100% sure of course. I was never even given any indication that he was changing my assignments, though I certainly believe he was. Needless to say this was a little frustrating and I ended up just going and downloading pallypower and disabling ZOMG for the duration to get things working properly.
Any idea what was going wrong there? Does ZOMG more or less ignore or deny blessing assignments from the comm channel while I'm outside of the "active" raid groups or something? I ask that mostly because it could match from how the blessings manager screen only shows paladins who are in groups 1-5 when the mod is set that way...
I've been noticing for the past little while that if you mouse onto a button with no modifiers held down the pop buttons appear of course, but then if you hold down alt while your mouse leaves the button area the pop buttons don't collapse. This has been getting a little annoying since i created a button for my pally blessings, and I frequently alt-click them to self-cast. Been getting the pop buttons stuck open a lot as a result (of course its as simple as mousing back over and back out without modifiers to get things to collapse again, but still kinda annoying as the popout covers part of my ToT frame in the mean time). Is this fixable?
As a paladin, my divine shield and divine protection CDs are being lumped together into "Spellgroup: Shocks" in the spells settings (including using the shocks icon). Is there some way to edit this?
Have a read through the lower parts of SecureTemplates.lua... it looks like you could probably spawn a second set of raid frames and do self:SetAttribute("groupFilter","MAINTANK, MAINASSIST") to get MT + MA's only?
Click your forum profile page and look down near the bottom for "show last posts by this person". This gets you a list of your recent posts, and each entry includes a link directly to that post within the particular thread.

Looks like it was a copy/paste job from the shocks spell group and one part wasn't edited.
