Yeah I was running cyC to skin YATA since it doesn't support BF... yet(*hopes*), but it looks like I have to find some other solution, because even without my custom BF skin on I was getting near-constant 'C stack overload' errors :/
Okay, I'm working on a BF skin right now that's an update of a old cyCircled one I made ages ago, and after fixing a weird bug that was removing my Normal texture whenever I dragged an item from my bags, I get a lovely 'C stack overflow' message now instead. No idea why this is, any ideas?
Also every time I log in my colour settings have been reset and Bongos is showing both cyCircled textures(despite that being disabled!) as well as BF's, but I think that's a problem with Bongos :/
Unfortunately it's something you just have to get used to by trial and error :( At least if you do your textures like I do you don't need to worry about coordinating the sizes of your textures(they'e aaall the same size) but lining them up with the spell icons is another matter :/
Having to use cyCircled(for YATA) and BF(for everything else!) at the same time seems to be upsetting Bongos, haha. Maybe it'll be beter after I reload my UI...
PS. For any PS users: Have any of you noticed that when you work from one psd file with all layers for those textures in one, various alpha channels (eg. gloss alpha, normal alpha) that it just doesn't work out?
Works fine for me and I do a lot of alphachannel work(luckily making textures for WoW addons is just like making textures for any game), so I'm not sure what you'e doing wrong.
Anyway, I'm trying to update my old custom cyCircled skins for ButtonFacade(and hoping that YATA will work with BF soon!) and I'm baffled by the size settings. I can't get everything to line up; the spell icons are huge and my textues are tiny even when they're set to the same size :/ I guess I just need to go by trial and error to see what size I should set my textures but it's very frustrating at the moment.
Scratch that, I figured it out and am happily working away now. One skin mostly done, two more to go :3 Although I'm getting a lot of 'C stack overflow' errors that don't seem to be my skin's fault but rather BF. Hm :/
