Well it should work like he did it. Get http://files.wowace.com/Bartender4/Bartender4.zip .. Unzip it somewhere. Get the .zip from my Git page, install it to your addon folder (remember to rename that ass-long Folder name to "Bartender4") and copy the libs from the Bartender4 you unziped before into the Beta/PRT version.

Ah, I expect this to work when I get home, I am at work now. Previously, I didn't get the zip you linked, I went to git and got the master which only had LibDataBroker in it. I guess that's the PTR version? I thought it was live. Thanks so much for everyone's help.

You were right. Apparently the zip file downloaded from your SVN doesn't contain all the libs needed. I made a copy paste of the "libs" folder from the live-version and put it in my 3.0.2 PTR version of Bartender4. Now everything seems to work as it should :)

This didn't work for me at all. What libraries are needed for BT4?

I believe you are experiencing the same thing as I am on the 3.0.2 PTR. Do you get any errors when trying to view options for the individual bars like I did?

I enabled error popups just now and I got:

Interface\AddOns\bartender4\actionBar\Options.lua:28: Invalid bar Id in options table. (1)

Please don't tell me what I have to change in the lua, because I have no idea how to do that. =P

I read through the thread but I can't find any instructions on how to install this for the Wrath Beta. I imagine I'm missing some Libs or something, but I'm not sure what is needed. When I log in, the Blizzard default bars are gone but there are no Bartender bars and the menu has almost no options. The basic tab has a few options but they seem to have no effect. The options for each individual Bar are blank. I would appreciate anyone pointing me to some documentation or list of required Libs that I missed.

Any update on a fix? I think some other non-Ace addons have been changed already, but I would like to continue to use this one. Right now I simply have the Mount module disabled :(

The problem with that is if you cast a spell to dismount, you'll be stuck in combat with your riding crop instead of your normal trinket.

I would rather that than having to recast my spells or reclick nodes and quest items. GG on Arenas making my PvE annoying.

No it was working just fine until the latest TinyTip update broke and I switched to CowTip. So I know it can be done, but how and with CowTip?

...To be more specific, the tooltips work fine for the unitframes that are already dragged out. I wish to see tooltips on the window where you press "O" and select the "Raid" tab

Is there anyone who knows what I'm talking about or how to do this?

It lets you configure between none/out of combat only/always

What is "it," blizzard's options? If you are referring to the CowTip options GUI, I could not find anything relating to the raid window.

Anyone know how to get tooltips to work on the Blizzard Raid window? It's kind of a pain to have to drag out every single group just to see who needs summons. TinyTip shows them but it started sucking so I'm not sure if there are tooltips there by default.

    Hey hey,

Thought Id let you know, I have a problem with getting my Target Bar to display "Thunderclap". Everything else seems to be working well... but this is kind of an important ability to be shown for me :) Hope you can get it fixed soon.

Cheers, and keep up the good work.

Not sure how long ago this was changed but I noticed it Saturday. The "Thunder Clap" debuff no longer shows up on the "target" bar because it is misspelled as "Thunderclap." In the meantime, it's pretty easy to disable that skill and manually add the correct one via the GUI.

Regarding custom sounds: Omen now uses LibSharedMedia-3.0, so you can just add anything you'd like to SharedMedia-3.0 as usual, and it should work.

    I'll try that, thank you.

Regarding warnings: You should be able to turn them off from the modules -> single target -> warnings menu.

I did this, trying different combinations as well as unchecking every single box. Still the annoying flash.

and is it possible to turn off the red screen flashing when approaching agro limit? the sound is all that's necessary for me at least.
Yes, this is absolutely obnoxious. And please put the simple/quick sounds back in, like Link and Heart.

There are several ways to do that. The easiest would be to use an action bar addon that allows paging with modifiers, and set it up so that one macro is on the paged bar and one is on the unpaged bar.

That would still leave me with the problem of my macro list filling up; it's what I do now.

A pure macro solution might be along the lines of:

    /addon profile A
    /stopmacro [mod:shift]
    /addon profile B

Which would result in the addon using profile A if shift was held while pressing the button, or profile B otherwise. This would probably be easier for you to set up, but could potentially lag a bit if the addon has to do a lot of things when it switches profiles (this really depends on the addon though).

    Brilliant!! I<3u
