My recommendation would be to ensure that your externalized libraries are up-to-date and that none of your other addons have those libaries loaded as embedded.

As for me, the only thing i could wish for from recount is a more detailed analysis of percentages of types of hits. I'd like to see, at the most specific level of detail, what percentage of a certain mob's hits against my character by his Cleave ability were crits, or what percentage of a certain mob's hits against the tank by his regular melee were crushing blows, or even what percentage of my hits against a certain boss by my Shred ability were misses/crits/etc. At the moment, i don't think we can get quite that specific, although i will have to explore the options again to be sure.

I was at first thrown by the coefficients thing, but i think i've nailed it down as... "coefficient due to talents" / "coefficient due to the spell" / "amount they are being applied to". Am i close?

How do you get it to change completely change all bars to blank so you can reconfigure when u stance change, then when u change back to first stance, it goes back to how it was before, and goes like that automatically when you change stnace.?

I am at work now, so i can't see this in the game, but i'll try to answer from memory.

In the Bartender options, you can set bars to switch to display other bars when you change stances. Configure each bar to change to a different bar number when you change stances. For example, if you had 3 stances and 3 bars showing, you could have bars 1, 2, and 3 change to 4, 5, and 6, respectively, when you moved to your second stance and 7, 8, and 9 when you moved to your third. I think.

I can't help you with getting Recount to share data from other users, but i can recommend that you play in Windowed mode. You get to alt+tab as much as you want, faster and more stable than before.

Hasselhoof: I believe that embedded libraries will blame the addon that has loaded them first for their memory usage. I speculate that Cartographer loaded a library that Recount is making use of and is being attributed some of its memory usage.

I'm at work now, so i can't explore the options of xloot, but i am wondering if i am able to disable the gradient effect (which makes the loot window grey at the top and black at the bottom). I appreciate the aesthetic effect, but i configure my UI to prioritize function over form, and the greyness at the top slightly reduces the contrast against the titles of items. I'd like to be able to set it all to a flat black instead.

If this is not possible with the current options, i'd like to be able to do that.

Perhaps he wants to have Quartz display his trap durations? That's really outside Quartz's scope. He should look into addons like Chronometer for that.

This is true, unless you have the extra bars already showing on the screen via the Advanced Interface Options tab. In fact, there are only two reasons i finally installed Bartender: 1) its pet bar works; and 2) showing the "right" and "far right" action bars in the Default UI wasted space, because i can fit all 5 visible bars on the bottom with bartender (disposing of the bags and other, non-actoin buttons) and use the extra space on the right for other things.

When you had all those bars showing, the blizzard bar switching code would skip them in the rotation, but when Bartender is showing its own, they are not skipped. It was easy enough to replicate my old functionality. Instead of using key X as a way to switch to "next action bar", i have it call a /swapactionbar 1 2 macro.

Is it possible to right a macro to change which bar is being displayed?

For instance, I have bar1 sitting right next to my HUD with my most used spells, but depending on what I'm fighting the spells i use change. What I would like is to setup my other spell sets on say Bars 2 and 3, and then when i click the macro button Bar1 changes to one of the other bars, similar to a warrior or druid changing stances.

I know there is the option to hold a modifier key to shift the bars, but holding shift for an entire fight seems a bit cumbersome.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Indeed, i recommend making a macro that uses /swapactionbar. You may not be able to use more than one alternate bar that way, though. You could use the Blizzard bindings, but i found that it then switches among all 6 bars instead of only the original 2 like it did in the default UI with all the extra bars showing, and that was unacceptable, so i made a /swapactionbar 1 2 macro and used BindPad to set it to a certain key.

That sounds kind of cool, although i disagree with the use of Green, as that's usually the color the bar is when i'm casting a healing spell. Maybe a dark green, or a dark blue.

My question, is this option maybe somewhere hidden in bartender? or coming maybe? and if not, does anyone have a tip for an add-on that provides a cast/cooldown timer and something like a gcd fade?

If BT3 doesn't display the CGD, then OmniCC will, along with cooldowns. So...

Cast timer: Quartz, eCastingBar, some unit frame addons, blizzard default
    Cooldown timer: OminiCC
GCD fade: i don't know what a fade means, but OmniCC shows the GCD on abilities just like the blizzard default bars did.

the counterspell and imp counterspell isnt displaying in the target sets of bars

What are "the target sets of bars"? DrDamage doesn't create any bars, Counterspell doesn't do damage so DrDamage wouldn't put any text on its button anyway, and DrDamage doesn't have anything to do with whether or not abilities show up.

I always had the skillname behind my own heals ..
"+150 (Imp. Leader of the Pack)" i.e. or "+200 (Siphon Life)" and so on.
Now, with the updated sct, its just like "+200" and nothing more information.
Can I enable that thing again anyhow? I just want THAT thing, not skillnames on my damagingskills.

When i asked about this, i was told that that's how it is now; we can either turn on all spell names or write a custom event in the custom events file that does what we want.

My problem: I am also receiving the " SCTD -Ace2-: Hit 113 21" message scrolling in my chat window and cluttering it til its unreadable lol.

Greyhoof has said that this is fixed and that the next time files.wowace.com updates its file list, we'll have the change.

Using WowAceUpdater, you can just select the SCT addons and hit "reinstall" to force it to update them without waiting for the files index to be updated.
