It seems that was all there was for my mana dogtag... does anyone know if someone has written a list of dogtag strings? I would be most interested in trying out what others have come up with. I am primarily interested in health and mana dogtags. What I prefer is a health value that is something like this:
[Max Health] | [damage (color red & hidden if at max)]

    And power (mana):
[Max Mana] | [Current Mana (color blue & hidden if at max)]

Is there a thread that someone has written a whole list of DogTag 3 compatible strings for health, power, and whatnot?

Or can someone tell me how to fix mine:
    Health
    [~Status ? MaxHP:Short] | [Status | SmartMissingHP:Red:Append([Text( )])]

    Power
    P:Negate:Yellow:Append([Text( )][White][MaxMP:Bracket]) ! CurMP] ] ]

They both display as syntax error when I update to the latest pitbull, but will still work if I revert. Please help, because I am hoping that the issues I have with aura updating will be fixed in the new version. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Even if there is a list of DogTags I can try instead of what I am currently using. I just don't like the default.

I am not sure if I should post this here, or in the Dogtag thread... but I decided to post it here, since when I restore my old version of Pitbull the error goes away.

I get the text "Syntax error" for health and mana values on my Pitbull frames. Here is the dogtag string I use:

    Health:
    [~Status ? MaxHP:Short] | [Status | SmartMissingHP:Red:Append([Text( )])]

    Mana:
    [IsRage#player ? CurMP ! [IsEnergy#player ? CurMP ! [~IsMaxMP ? CurMP:Negate:Yellow:Append([Text( )][White][MaxMP:Bracket]) ! CurMP] ] ]

Obviously there is a problem, otherwise I wouldn't be getting an error with the new version of Pitbull, but if it is a Dogtag issue, why is it I don't have to revert to an older version of the Dogtag lib?

Any help is appreciated. I can provide screenshots, if my explanation isn't enough.

    Unrelated:

I have also been getting the following error message, and can't identify the offending addon. Since the Pitbull crowd is more adept at identifying problems, I thought I would run it by you guys.

    [font=courier]invalid key to 'next'[/font]

I get this, and nothing else in a dialog box periodical and I am unable to reproduce. The error is completely random, but always occurs during combat. If anyone can help with this as well, I would be eternally grateful. I have been unable to find help elsewhere in the board.

I think I found the answer to my question in this post: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=12130.0

So I suppose its back to the drawing board on writing new health and power dogtag strings. If anyone has any idea what that [font=Courier]invalid key to 'next' [/font] error is being caused from, I am still interested in knowing. Thanks!

The only real thing I am missing with Cellular is sound, or more to the point, notification of a new message (yes... long time WIM user). Is that already build in, or is there a workaround I have just not discovered? However, I do love the look and feel.

Edit: Thank you for leading me in the right direction. I got to thinking about your suggestion to use HeyFu for message tracking, and wondered if there was a sound addon someone already wrote. Sure enough, Chatsounds was exactly what I was looking for.

Perhaps if you simply coded the ability for others to write plugins of modules. This way, those who want more can do it themselves. Cellular is extremely lightweight, which is what the author appears to have intended. It handles the basics, but for those who want features, they are left short or forced to use another mod. Pulgins would give the best of both worlds. It's not a feature request or enhancing the mod, just allowing others to do what they wish. Just a thought.

Request: For the timer rings around buffs, debuffs, and HOTs, would it be difficult to add an option to not dim the icon filling it like a pie, but instead use a spark on the ring to better indicate where the timer is?

    Example:

Is the ability to show mp5 value still available with the current release? I looked in all the options and can't find anything. If it has been removed, would it be too difficult to be put back?

    • Your current target will now display all of the duration based spells that you have cast on them with cooldown rings so you will know how much longer they will last. Very useful for warlock damage over time spells and druid healing over time spells as well as many others.

Has this already been implemented into PitBull? I didn't bother to crawl the old thread, so forgive me if it has been discussed already.

If it has been put in, could someone give us a screenshot from PTR?

Looks like no vertical bars for me. =(

And apparently I was alone in thinking they were cool. Wouldn't be the first time. There are many things I thought was cool and was way off... Parachute pants, the mullet, fingerless gloves, Michael Jackson, thong panties... ok, I was right about thong panties, but my track record is still less than stellar.

    There's an XP bar?

kidding... I could live without the mouseover for vertical unitframes.

As for long player names, perhaps the name could be arranged along the edge?

Isn't there an ace hud with vertical bars? Might be able to steal the code from one of those? Just a thought...

Unless there is just no demand for such a critter. Currently, there is no other UF that provides this. Directional unitframe customization... think of the possibilities!
