so becouse you dont like it sorting by hp lost no one else can get it ? stupid arguement tbh

nah, what maia really meant is that a lot of people here asked that Squishy works this way, because a lot think that CT_Emergency is hard to heal with because the list changes to often, when you got a lot of healing around and damage, you never know who you are indeed healing.
Squishy was made so that persons who appear in the list stay excatly at that position for a time. Believe me, it reduces Overhealing a lot and healing is more efficient. In encounters where healing is at it's limit and mana too, the emergency monitor from CT will do our Manapool a lot more damage than good since spamming heal on the first one too appear will cause overhealing and perhaps others to die.

I run 40 mods,  few of them aced (yep, almost everything does not have an aced replacement due to me being one of the only people in the world who uses them), with 16.9mb memory.

I'd like to replace more of them with ace mods, so, if someone could tell me what I could replace..

    Chatbox
    IEF
    OmniCC
    Atlas
    AtlasQuest
    AltasLoot
    AuctionSync (LoadOnDemand+LoadWith enabled)
    Bongos, Bongos_Actionbar, Bongos_Options
    BuffTimers
    NECB (Can't replace, guild required)
    EBR
    EngInventory
    FlightMap
    GFW_Linkerator
    goodinspect
    KTM (Guild required)
    MCP
    Mobs2Level (fixed)
    MozzFWM
    Nurfed_HUD
    Nurfed_Tooltip
    Nurfed-Unitframes
    Nurfed-Utility with MH3 embedded.
    QuestLevels
    Radar
    ShowBid (LoadWith+LoadOnDemand enabled)
    Skillstance
    SnapToGrid
    Swinger (fixed)
Titan (1.6 version that doesn't lag as the new ones do)
    TrinketMenu
    WeaponQuickSwap

I'd appreciate any help I could get with replacing these with more efficient mods.

I just saw your screenshot and memory usage. If you want to compare your memory usage with others here you got to look at the number while alive (that's a start) an in combat in a 40-man Raid, since it's there that memory is critical ;)

not finding ACEd UFs you like? i imagine it's because you want some portrait on it?
If so, try out Perl or XPerl, they are not draining as much as Discord and they got Portrait, Class-Icon, name above bars etc. and since you use sRaidFrames the Frameborders of both PerlClassic and XPerl will fit your UI

How did you skin your Unit Frames (hopefully they're AG_UnitFrames, since that's what I use :P ) and how did you skin the FuBar panel at the bottom?

i think the FuBar is simply set with no background at all and the length is reduced to the size of the frame where it resides in^^

Thanks a million!!! Now i understand why ACE addons are really pieces of art... It's the community that makes this happen!

I loved that sentence and it is so true. Since i use Ace mods and using this Forums, my UI has eveolved well, errors get fixed as soon as discovered, plenty of people on the IRC give nice answers to all us non-devs, make WoW a better experience (to compensate this, Blizzard gives us Lags and disconnects but we don't care since addons work fine :P )

Thanks for you skills, time and patience ;)

You are correct about the transparency, I had in my mind the backdrop indeed... Since i am not really familiar with the abbreviations aguf or oUF, is there a chance that you can provide me with some working links to have a look at?

    I appreciate your prompt replies...

    check your PMs ;)

Apologies about the quotation, but I only did it that way because I have seen a couple more posters quoting that way...

Thanks for the hint about the unitframes... I hope someone can make such a compilation using ACE libraries, because DUF is a memory sink...

    Thanks again!

Try out aguf or oUF. BTW the UF in that screen aren't transparent, it's only the backdrop that is transparent, bars aren't, but since everyone is nearly dead on that screen, one might think so^^

Not sure whether it has been reported already but when i was using bigwigs2 for my BWL run ytd the razorgore egg breaking counter wasnt accurate at all. It didnt register some egg breaking. Is it because u need more pple to sync for the breaking??

Exactly, you need to have players in range of all the eggs. Since in the battle at Razorgore the whole Raid disperses through the room, the more people have BW the more accurate the eggscount will be, it's the same with all addons collecting some data around you like SW or CTBossMod or DM, the more people sync the more area you cover the more accurate you are

ppl may not read forums or read them not as often as you can. I tell you this as im the main guild addon researcher :)

But  if during the raid they get some message sent by addon itself, its is much better imo

Something like automatic version query upon joining raid or upon new players with BW entering raid, spamming some chat message like: "9BW users in Raid, 2 with same verion, 3 with newer and 4 with older version"

In that case some ppl will be complaining of spamming by the mod, and if you have to turn the option on or of you could as well do a manual version query^^

Wow really great job guys! Finally I managed to convince some of our members incuding main/offtanks to install BW2 :)

One feature will be really really handy - to somehow notify ppl "Latest BW version is XXXXX! Yours is older, please update!"

Someone with BW can make version query and then tel ppl with older versions to upgrade. I myself upload some version on my server (yes i'm stealing from you :P ) an post in my Groups Forum to download that version. Why?

So everyone has the same version and they don't need to update everyday (i only upload a new version when some updates concerning bosses we do are done or when sth in the core changes. If ppl have to update once a week or so it's better or they will start complaining that the addon requires to much updates, you got to be gentle with your guildies :D

As requested by some, i added the addon list by my UI: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php/topic,1764.msg39308.html#msg39308

In OS X, if you select all files in a folder, hit Cmd-C to copy, and then Cmd-P to paste into a text editor, you'll get a plain text listing of your files. A bit easier to chew through than a screenshot of the folder window (although it does look nice).

Windows: Open a command prompt in your addons directory ...

    dir /b /ad /on > addon_list.txt

Open that file and copy/paste to your web browser.

You know, 80% of Windows users don't know what the command prompt is :P *just kidding*

Yeah i know, i can copy and paste directly here in the Forums edit box (BTW doesn't work with all text programms, TextEdit f.e. displays the folders not the names when pasting, all other TextEditors work right), but as you said: "It does look nice" and some ppl actually recognize OSX and know they are not alone in this world :P Now back to the topic here ;)
