OK Moom i want your minimap or just like it but with a smaller border around it.

    Tell me how. Please. :)

i used a dummy solution, simpleminimap set to square/no border, created a frame, drgged the minimap into it^^
Playing with frames is the first thing i did with lua (thanks to Haste's Bottombarcode), so the whole frames are dependant on my res and uiScale apart from their positions which will be ok on every setup. I don't know how i could convert any of those so that they can be used by anyone else, everyone can feel free to take the layout and make sth out of it that everyone can use.
Someone asked me for an oskinlike RoundMinimap design. i'm fiddling on it and i'll gladly pass it to oskinners if they want it :D

is there also a thread for discussing the new design? i really like the integration into the wiki, but better viewing, i'd suggest separating all posts with a table would be nice, and having the old quote layout would be nice too, you can't really tell where the quote stops ^^

Who knows, perhaps someone is fiddling with the design right now and it isn't completly finished yet^^

maia, i got some problems with the last squishy build, squishy is showing me people on my list as in range when in fact they are at the other side of the room where my healspells can't reach them^^

    1) Same error as above
    2) when i change border style, only the border of the portrait changes not the border around the bars
    3) look at the screenie beneath, this happens when targeting myself, i think it will perhaps also do that on other players? I'm testing on some low-activity server with a low-level char and had no other player there to target
Edit: a lowbie came by to test :P same result with targeting another player, still the powerbar will be way too long

Can't seem to vote^^voting closed? i only see results.

    I'd vote Don't Care

I kinda like it all like that, because if you are searching for a specific mod and it's description, one should use /files or the wiki and only use these threads for suggestions and error fixing.

The only sorting that would be nice would be Sub-cats for bigger things like RaidAddons (as it is already) and perhaps Fubar+Plugins

hide Neronix, haste's going mad :P

Who needs a shield the most other than a MT/OT? the person hurt the most.

I have to disagree. Imagine the following: 2 tanks, both not in your group, one at 19% hp, one at 20% hp. Who will you shield?

Simple logics will shield the tank with 19% hp.

    Now what if e.g.:
    - the tank with 20%hp is aggrod by a mob, while the other isnt
    - the tank with 20%hp has a Mortal Strike debuff
    - the tank with 19%hp is out of combat and has ressed (SS'd, druid-res)
    - the tank with 19%hp has an active rejuv and a renew buff, the other doesnt
    - the tank with 19%hp is already in the process of being healed by someone else
    ...

See, this is why I believe the Squishy priority logic is superior. And the sorting logic makes it easier to keep track of whats happening (and to target a specific unit).

lol, sorry maia, i wrote my post before reading yours here.
The main problem is i think for a user to separate Visual display and Priority list, especially if you were used to CTRA where both are the same ;) and if both are the same, what's the point in still having a visual display?^^

It;s also not for just spamming flash heal. Who needs a shield the most other than a MT/OT? the person hurt the most. With a click casting addon, (clique, aceheal, etc), it's a two button affair, press a key to target the lowest, and then hold alt-rightclick (or whatever your particular key combination is for shield.)

You arguments are a bit flawed.
Why target then clickcast? when you target, den heal by Keybinding. The reeason i use Clique is to not have to target a unit before healing, so i can hold my MT as target at all times.

And when you say keybinding for "targeting", not healing, then squishy will not give you the first on its visual list but the first on priority list, so i still don't see why you want visual display of highhest priority if you don't use it via clickcasting anyway^^

P.S.: we're not flaming you in any way, you started the post with "i heal quicker quicker with CTRA because of the sorting" we're only trying to get your way of thinking and help you perhaps optimize your healing by telling you why Squishy has evolved that way and how we use it.
The hardest thing is moving from an addon to another, you were used to have most deficit at top, so you are quicker opposed to yourself using squishy, that's totally normal.

    http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php/topic,1715.0.html

You can change between different themes and look so for the best that fits your needs^^
But better you look for yourselve

Yea I have looked around a good bit, but what I'm saying is that I haven't found any ACE UF that allow all buff/debuff slots to be shown, and to have numbers and % for mana / health displayed.

got oUF, shows me 16 buffs and 16 debuffs or even more and can be configured to display both number and % together ;)

posted a message on MPQ Tool - Mac OSX
Hi there, i was just fiddling around with Frames and i wanted to see which border textures are available from the embedded ones in WoW and i was searching for a Tool to see .mpq contents. I found some, but none for Max OSX. I tried out the old Diablo II MPQ Tool 1.1 and it seems to work fine, but i wanted to ask all OS X users in here what they use to view MPQ or, even better, post me some OS X Tools they often use for working with addons.

And what would be nice is an MPQ Extractor, so i could look at some of the texture files to get their sizes etc. Diable II MPQ Tool only gives me a text file with the mpqs contents.

P.S.: made a search in the Forums for sth related, got no results, if by chance i oversaw it, feel free to direct me and close this subject.

    Thanks - Moondrake
