From what I read here the damage done windows (save pet merge) are working in the trunk that WAU would pick up. i.e. none of the other windows work yet, including Flat Death List (my other old frequent favorite during raids)?

Does the tie-in with BigWigs still work? I'm guessing that it would work since it doesn't parse the chat log to tie in with BigWigs to save off bosses?

Might be time to switch back after being sick to death of trying to use Violation and before that Recrount after 2.4 hit, even with limited functionality.

Thanks for the hard work so far guys.

Recount doesn't tie in bigwigs, but you can set it to keep boss fight segments only.

Do any mods do this or is it a potential addition to recount?

If it saves each boss segment as a separate segment I can go back to later, thats nice, and you just have to live without trash stats, which are less useful anyway. If it merges all of the boss segments, eh.

Does Recount have a feature to tie in with BigWigs and automatically save off boss fights (if configured to do so), by chance? Its probably one of the biggest things I miss having lost Assessment to patch 2.4, when looking at other meters.

For some reason, even though I configured Elk to stop showing the default Blizzard buff/debuff frame, most of the time icons with timers still show up where blizzard puts buffs/debuffs...and often they are even wrong or mixed up.

Anyone have a clue what might be going on there or had the same problem?

How necessary is the sync for accuracy in 25 man raids? I enjoyed Assessment in some measure because of its lack of dependence on syncing (less traffic), while still enjoying highly accurate reports.

It now being, if not dead, then on hold, I'd like to give another meter a fair shake.

Thank you this is a great addon!!!

It really is. Sorry Antiarc, but I've been pushing it hard among my guild (I'm the GM, and we are fairly large), as I'm sure many others are, so get ready for a lot more little requests and threat hits =)

Fantastic mod. One I am sure will quickly become a mod I can't imagine not having around.

Suggestion: Could we have the option to click on a mob in the list of mobs we have saved and have it spam info on the mob to party or raid chat? i.e. I drill down into the Isle of Quel'danis list, pick an Erratic Sentry, and shift-click on it's name to have it report the mob's details to the current chat channel.

Also, it would be great to have it configurable where it reports data. Choose between party or raid (or have it automatically choose raid when in a raid), and perhaps other channels.

One last thing, if I have a mob targeted, it'd be handy to have it auto-select that mob when I open the pane that shows all mobs. Just having easy access to the complete description of buffs/debuffs mobs are putting up will be invaluable.

However, even if you did nothing, I'm sure this mod will be used often.

While we await someone to take up the mantle of fixing this great mod, is anyone using an alternative that includes the functionality of filtering DMG Done by a specific target? i.e. Show DPS or Damage Done, but to a single mob?

I'd be happy to move to an alternative if one was developed that included this feature, or if one exists.

I'm thinking not SWStats though, since the SWStats page still describes a heavy dependence on syncing for some reason.

Last night the paladin in our raids that I have do assignments switched to ZOMGBuffs, and as anticipated, he was able to assign 10m buffs to PallyPower users just fine.

It is just PallyPower that is unable to fully assign buffs to someone using ZOMGBuffs. As long as the person assigning is using ZOMG, thinks work great, or so it seems after one night in Hyjal.

You're having the same problem I had, that ultimately made me throw my hands in the air and give up on an otherwise decent mod: ZMGB only seems to play well with pally power if ZMGB gets to be in control.

Like you, I'm eagerly watching progress and hoping this gets fixed sometime soon.

The mod would kick ass if it was more accepting of other players assigning buffs. Once those quirks are worked out, it'll rock.

I tried it again last night in a ZA run with one other paladin. He was running PallyPower, and was familiar with the experience of trying to set up blessings with ZOMGBuffs running in the raid from our earlier night's raid.

I had all learning disabled and combed through the interface to find anything else that might need to be disabled or checked.

We noticed immediately that any attempt he made to assign 10m buffs to me were not picked up by ZOMGbuffs at all (he would change it in PallyPower, hit refresh, and notice that it would be immediately overwritten by me with what it was before).

We didn't take the testing further from there.

Perhaps if a later ZOMGbuffs edition fixes the sync with PallyPower we won't have issues, or if the other paladins decide to adopt ZOMGbuffs. We'll see, and I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone reports successful raid use of ZOMGbuffs with a later version.

I will take a look and try to do some testing.

However, I can tell you that I never hit the "Generate" button on the Blessing Manager last night, yet the mod kept changing the assignments of all paladins in the raid.

I also did not have BoM as a higher priority than anything else for paladins, yet it was assigned to be cast on us, but Sanctuary wasn't even being assigned as a 10m version, yet I was definitely classed as a tank under the Paladin section of Blessing Manager (and sanctuary was the highest priority buff or one of the top two at least).

I do, however, find the interface very confusing.

So far as I can tell, the intent of the Blessing Manager is that you can see what assignments are and edit them there for the specific raid you are in. You can open up the config section and specify buff priority (1 being the highest?), which I assume is used when you hit "Generate" only?

Generate rarely does what I think it should based on the priorities I set up, however.

On ZOMG taking over without being asked to...is there some code in there that checks to see if you are an assistant when you zone into a raid zone, and generates assignments at that time? Perhaps some kind of attempt to automatically set things up when a raid is starting that is triggering more often than intended?

If I can narrow down any of the bugs I'll post about it. The mod certainly has potential, and I like that it includes my aura and handles more than paladin buffs, so I really WANT it to work out.

Turn off learning, if you manually buff something, by default it will assume that's what you want to do from now on and change your template.

To clarify, if I turn off learning, will it forget what it previously learned (one hopes)?

Further, will it cease (without being asked) taking over blessing assignments for all paladins?

I had to disable ZOMGBuffs mid-raid last night and re-install PallyPower. We had all buffs working fine for 2 Kael'thas pulls, and before the third one ZOMG randomly decided to completely change all of the buff assignments.

It had it configured so that paladins (all prot or holy) were getting might, some classes (with 4 paladins int he raid), didn't have kings, etc...pretty bad.

So if I turn off learning will ZOMGBuffs happily accept whatever buff assignments other promoted paladins give it, even with them using PallyPower?

In a raid last night, I was running ZOMG and the other paladins were running PallyPower.

The paladin that assigns our blessings was using PallyPower. I was promoted as well, because I lead our raids, however, and ZOMG kept overwriting the assignments he set up.

Is there a configuration option to avoid that, or can one be added?
