Nov 25, 2007Some of these have already been mentioned, but what the hell...Posted in: General Chat
Align - Helps with the numerous UI changes I make
Bongos2 - Dunno what it is just prefer it to BT3, seems lighter
Combuctor - I know the thread is on wowace but gotta mention it
Doublewide - Love this but I only have a small monitor so it might have to go :(
idChat - Edited to suit my requirements, nice, simple and lightweight
Lightheaded - Used with TomTom, makes levelling the alts much easier
Locknotes - Awesome little addon showing removal of buffs, spell resists etc specifically for a warlock, I turn all of the mirrored bits off in MSBT
Ludwig - For drooling over all the fat epix I can't get my hands on..
MSBT - Used it for ages, prefered to the alternatives
oGlow - Works well, love it
OmniCC - Nothing to say really, it works, I love it
Onscreen - Hides UI parts in/out of combat, helps keep my screen less cluttered
oTweaks - The original back from when Haste still had his addons on here, still appears to work well
Sellfish - Again nothing to say really, it works, I love it
StinkyQueue - For AV luvvin with the wife
tekability - Just that little extra bit of info
tekKompare - Again nothing to say really, it works, I love it
tekMapEnhancer - Non full screen map, love it
TomTom - Used with tekMapEnhancer and lightheaded, gives me all I need for map addons
Vendorbait - Speeds up the quest reward process, pure laziness on my part
Phew, was only gonna post a list, but then decided I needed to explain why I use it and ended up with this monstrosity of a post, then added even more by writing this bit...Damn...

Just changed the whole bottom panel. Subtle changes do really make all the difference in the world. I'm MUCH happier with it now.

Download planned....eventually. (Don't hold your breath.)
Advanced comments and critique always welcome.
Damn it, just getting my classic UI sorted heavily based on Lanacan's v7 ui, now I want to change it again. very nice indeed.

Is anyone able to explain this to me so I can do the same and hopefully fix my problem as well?
Go into your Interface\Addons folder, find eePanels2, edit the eePanels2.toc file and at the end of this line
## OptionalDeps: Ace2, FuBar, DewdropLib, FuBarPlugin-2.0, LibSharedMedia-2.0, SharedMedia-2.0, Waterfall-1.0
Oct 29, 2007_ForgeUser1192510 posted a message on Combuctor: All in one, filterable displays for your inventory and bankOk, I've used this for a few days now and have had zero problems or errors. Really like the ease of use, no complicated PT3 code, it just does what its supposed to. Saying that, I am looking forward to the customisable categories but hope it's kept as simple to use as it is now. Maybe just filtered, as they are at present, but with the ability to add individual items to each category.Posted in: General AddOns

Sorry, 126 pages is a bit much to search through. Sticky frames are no longer planned for Bartender? That's one of the very few things that has me sticking with Bongos. (Ha, get it? Sticking! Ahem, yes...well anyway...)
BT3 has sticky bars and has had for a while now.
Oct 5, 2007As an ex-Niagra user I'm really liking the Rock config screen, it seems to have added the bits that were missing from Niagra. Changing it into the default 'look' has blended it in really well.Posted in: Rock
A small request would be to add a copy and paste function to the colour pickers. I use AdvancedColourPicker (or whatever it's called) purely for matching up my UI's colours, having such a short cut would be extremely useful.

Anyone still has a nice layout to share ?
Looking for some nice layouts but people seem to be lacking posting them these days.
Personally I use the UI thread in General, download any UI's that have the layout I like and knick the lua file.
Sep 21, 2007I started redoing my UI last night and found the fade ability was just right. It faded enough that it wasn't obtrusive. Although I wasn't sure at first, the Rock configurator is starting to shape up nicely.Posted in: Rock

I usually looks at the forums every day.. But have been ill a few days now... Something has happened.
What is Rock? Why is it here at WowAce? Will the Rock-addons be ported to ACE?
I think mixing different addons under ACE is wrong. Either it is ACE or it isnt.
www.wowrock.com would be a suitable place for rock-addons.
Please help me understand what is going on.. I love ACE-addons.. I only want to use ACE-addons. And since my last WoWAceUpdate i got rock involved.. :-/
Read the thread you just posted in, it gives you all the answers. And to quote OrionShocks Signature:
"The overall goal is disconnect the libraries from the addon when it comes to the user. They shouldn't CARE what is in it, they should care that the non-library code is well written." --tekkub
Because he said it the best.

Is it possible to make it so that each bar can have as many buttons as possible, such that all bars in total uses 120 buttons or less?
Unfortunately you can't. Although you could try Bongos 2 which will almost do what you want. Coded by Tuller and just as efficient as BT3 if not slightly more so. Just because it's not Ace'd doesn't mean it's automatically inefficient.
EDIT: Just realised your setup requires 132 buttons, so you won't be able to do it with Bongos either. Infinibar might be able to do that amount but as I've never used it, I couldn't be 100%.
