think you're right on the rested color. mind you, the other one was staring me in the face (i was in unitclass and missed it) so take that for what it's worth :)

Show absolute hp if unit is enemy and MH3 has a value, or show missing hp if unit is friendly, or show percent hp, or show offline/dead/ghost status. Also, show percent hp if unit is enemy.
yes, i'd like a little of that.
Oct 3, 20061. raid and party frames growing "up" from the anchor point would be great. i read earlier in the GIANT thread that someone had generated some code.Posted in: Unit Frames
2. option on hostile targets to show actual hitpoints as a value. soloing i would find this very useful. (i suspect i can set a 'custom' parameter to do this for me but haven't tried... yet). however i would want this to be a separate stored option from a friendly target. as a healer i work with deficiencies to determine which heal to cast.
(off-topic edit: congratulations on these frames. they are really catching on!)

ok, i feel better.
i am THIS CLOSE to getting the time bubble to toggle with the rest of the minimap.
i modded the bindings.xml to point to a function in the simpleminimap.lua file.
if (self.db.profile.show.time) then
this is working fine to hide the minimap and time bubble.
the problem is that i don't know the lua language any better than i know latin :) so in the function above, where the ... is, i need to add code that toggles the self.db.profile.show.time value in the savedvariables file, so that when i hit the toggle key again, it executes the GameTimeFrame:show() line.
but i don't know the syntax to do that. i'm JUST over my head on this one.
Sep 29, 2006i'm pretty sure it's in the square file where the problem lies. i picked at this one quite a bit. i switched out the square files for the rounded corner files (renamed) and could not reproduce the problem. i think this one is a blizz bug, something in the square mask file seems like it might be behaving like the image was reverse and hiding the map image instead of showing it.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
i'm on a mac so i don't know about the rest of the world :) but for me there is a default command-m that takes the app from full screen to windowed. maybe ctrl-m on windows?
(thread merge ahead: thanks for the pointer on the time bubble. i'll need the good luck lol)
Sep 29, 2006i've had an idea i want to try with your mod, but i need some help.Posted in: Unit Frames
basically i want the raid frames (i'm using the one big group, perfectRaid-style layout) to adjust their scale whenever someone is added or removed from the raid.
for me 84% scale fits a 40 man raid on my UI. it looks good, works fine, but for a ZG run or whatever there's room to make it bigger. i would like to automate that scale change.
where would you all suggest that i should hook in my little bit of scaling code to make this work?

working as intended is fine with me :)
i might change it for myself.
turns out i was flattering myself here :D
can anyone point me to the code that i would modify to include the time bubble when 'disappearing' the minimap via hotkey?

Toggling between windowed mode and fullscreen mode turns the minimap black. Reloading the UI fixes it but just thought you should know.
I think that's happening with the default miimap, too... so nothing that can be fixed I guess ;)
It doesn't happen when I disable the mod. But when it's on, it happens every time I toggle the setting.
i had this happen well before the ace2 version. only on the square map skin, but it would happen every time. the rounded corner one i saw it once and then never again. the /smm skin command worked for me. i tried a couple different addons that used the square map, squeenix being one of them, same problem.
Sep 23, 2006loving the hotkey-to-hide feature. however, for some reason the time bubble isn't disappearing with the rest of the minimap. i've noticed that the fubar clockFu addon overrides the /smm show time setting when it's set to hide (in clockFu), so i'm wondering if that might be the cause?Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
