Loving IceHUD so far. I just installed it yesterday and all was working fine (I grabbed all the files and directories from the SVN). It was working great last night, but today I started getting a message on all characters when I log in:
Interface\AddOns\IceHUD\modules\CastBar.lua:2:Cannot find a library instance of SpellStatus.1.0.
Needless to say the cast bar feature isn't working now. I do have two other mods that might impact the cast bar (Bongos and XPerl, I have the XPerl "Arcane Bar" disabled though). Very strange, because I changed nothing between last night and this morning (at least that I can recall). O_o Looking around though, the /libs directory at http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/trunk/IceHUD/ is empty. Which libs do I need to grab, if any?
SpellCache-1.0 and SpellStatus-1.0 for sure.

Sep 30, 2006I am in high gear at work, and dont have a lot of time. Maybe in the next few weeks. If someone can research some addons that are doing something similar in a decent way, I can use them as resources to build the addon for SpellStatus.Posted in: Libraries
Sep 30, 2006I have a newer version that might solve a few issues. As always, please keep in mind that this library can only as good as the SPELLCAST event system. There are quirky stuff that happens in certain specific instances. This library tries to make sense of it.Posted in: Libraries
If you use the library and see something quirky, turn on debugging by using AceLibrary("SpellStatus-1.0):SetDebugging(true) and AceLibrary("SpellStatus-1.0):SetDebugLevel(3). If this is gibberish to you, don't mess with it. If it does, your debugging help would be very much appreciated.

/cast Raptor Strike(Rank 8) /cast Mongoose Bite(Rank 3)
Will be hard for me to test this, since I dont have a hunter, but I will see what i can do with my little hunter. Beyond that, since this has been offline, its taken this long for me to see this. My apologies.

Using Druidbar 3.311 off of Curse-gaming.com. And I suspect the second error's probably an indirect result of the first, cascading down...

I have implemented on my side a way to go around the problem, but it needs further testing. I also developed a fubar plugin that will aid.
The problem is that the event system for spellcasting is an absolute message. There are so many possible combinations of what can happen, that the logic becomes harry, specifically for instants. I am doing my best, and will continue to work on it. I do have to mention that I would enjoy a higher level of investigation on yalls side to. Im happy when somebody posts, which should happen more, but also include the order in which you cast spels and perhaps pertinent information like the type of spell it is etc.
I have quite a few chars, but not all classes, so I cant always just go out and reproduce a specific problem on my end, and will need to work based on detailed info.
