    It looks like the constants for COPPER, SILVER, GOLD aren't accessible the same way anymore or at all?

    Adding this to top of Postal.lua (before the _ABBR lines) fixed it:

    Yeh I think having an option to not autoaccept res's from druids is the best way to handle all these cases sufficiently. It should provide all functionality desired for raids without risking auto accepting or cancelling a brez at the wrong time.

    Thought about it a little more and changed my mind:)

    Having either more delay options or a configurable delay value would be nice.
    Also having the ability to cancel a delayed accept without canceling the request is important.

    Aside from this, I think an additional option for battle rez's is still needed.

    Even a short timer with ability to cancel could result in disaster. Example, if I've been dead for a min and go afk for some reason, a 5-10 sec timer could still autorez me to my death even if it's cancelable.
    Given that the rez'ers name is an argument for the request event, it would simply take looping through the group/raid to find a matching unit and checking if it's class is a druid.
    Sure looping through the raid isn't performant, especially for an automated action. However, the looping only needs to occur if the option is enabled, AND the player is dead already so performance for a quick check like this is irrelevant.

    Well the player name is passed with the event, but yeh it would suck trying to find the player's class given a name and no unitId.

    A 5-10 sec delay would be nice. After a wipe I want the autorez to be near instant for faster recovery/buffing. Although for battle rez's I may need to wait longer than 10 sec before accepting and it's never acceptable to decline a battle rez (they're too valuable). An example might be getting a brez but then needing to wait for a boss stage transition to complete before accepting it.
    So if determining rez'ers class isn't practical and use a short delay instead. Is it possible to allow the cancel button during the countdown cancel the countdown and leave the rez request window open? So to decline the request during a delayed accept you would need to click twice, but you could cancel the countdown and accept manually when it's safe.

    Not sure if this has been asked for.

    I'd reeeeally like an option in the Resurrect module to either not autoaccept the res if the res'er is in combat or the res spell was Rebirth (battle res).

    Basically this would allow me to always have autores enabled but not worrying about switching it off quickly in a raid when I expect a battle res and don't want to get randomly one-shot.

    Love this addon apart from one problem.
    Could it please be updated to use profiles for settings like most/all other Ace2 addons?
    It's a real pain to setup everything on every character and keep them all in-sync.

    Another way you could do exact searches without modifying the AH UI would be to use a character in the search string.
    e.g. "+runecloth" vs "runecloth" where the "+" symbol denotes an exact name search.
    If that's too hard for people to remember, you could add a tooltip to the text box, describing the search symbol usage. That's modifying the UI, but not in such a destructive way.

    Yeh that'd be perfect (if auto ready didn't accept when the player was afk).
    Making auto ready off by default would also be good.

    Again, I realise you may not personally want it, but I'm glad you see the logic for it existing.
    Each guild/raid is run differently, the fact it doesn't suit some people doesn't mean it isn't useful for others.
    For example, my guild uses ready checks very often to make sure people are awake etc. They may do 1-5 before a boss pull even depending on what's going on. We raid about 4-7 hours each night of the week.
    Autoready saves me more clicks than any other automation during a regular night.
    Also due to long raids I'm not always watching the screen or like to get out of my chair and stretch while I wait for people to get ready. Stopping whatever to click yes every few seconds is really annoying, and I don't want to slow the raid at all. The ready check sound warning is all I need to know to be ready any second.

    I think it's a bit too off topic discussing whether autoready should be allowed, as a ui restriction it is up to bliz essentially. And seriously, if you have someone in your raid going afk and causing problems, the leader should tell them they're slowing the raid and they'll be replaced in the raid if they keep it up.

    I attached a basic autoready module. It'll only auto accept ready checks while not afk and if you're afk it'll play a quest failed sound and say you missed it (it won't automatically decline the ready check if you're afk).

    With 20609 I also have the keybindings and mouseover on empty buttons with grid off and I don't use cyCircled or any other new addon. I went back to 20403 and it's normal again.

    Would it be possible to remove the attached messages for multimail? The new CT_MailMod has made this change. The difference is not needing to click the delete button when opening mail manually... It's generally not important to know the mail is item X of N.

    Is there any way to use 2D portraits in ag_UnitFrames?
    Looking quickly at the code it looks like atleast the frame template xml (and some lua) would need to be changed.

    If there is no way to speed up 3D portraits to instant I'd prefer 2D portraits...

    Yeh after looking at some of the code (real limited for time while at work:) I see that there's not much you could do, but I like your idea of making it an option to disable a bar's empty buttons while out of combat. That'd provide the most flexibility for setting up individual bars too. I think it's of value though, it lets you use the standard bars for more layouts/positioning (ie in central areas of the screen), without needing additional addons.

    Yeh obviously you wouldn't want to reduce any existing functionality.
    The real original question is asking whether empty buttons need to block mouse clicks? Or is there any technical reason why it can't be done? (including reasons like: it'd involve way too much code change for small feature).
    I wasn't trying to suggest how it was done, just the feature itself.

    I believe that's the idea. Last I checked, this is wobble's addon so he has the final say on its features.


    Obviously any decision is the author's. I'm just saying that it's a feature that obviously people would like, it fits this addon perfectlty, and the reasoning provided for not including it is flawed.
