I've a small problem with Pitbull - I use a multi-button mouse (one of those with navigation buttons for forward/back, in addition to the normal buttons which appear on a wheel mouse)

    --[snip]--

Using Clique I make use of macro's like that all the time. It sounds like you placed a macro on a action bar button and then bound the button to your mouse key? I'll try that tonight and see if I have the same results.

Any update on this? I noticed that agUF has the same problem but sRaidFrames doesn't...

Yes that's exactly right (easy to switch out the mouse buttons behavior for certain fights that way)

WoW sees these as mouse button 4 and mouse button 5

I have hotbar buttons mapped to these extra mouse buttons. I use one of these extra buttons to run class specific mouseover macros. (On my Paladin I have a cleanse macro, on my priest I have a shield macro)

When I switched to Pitbull 2 weeks ago these macros stopped working when I used the unitframes as my mouseover target. Yesterday I took the time to disable all my mods and confirm that it's Pitbull that is interfering.

It's almost like there is a click-cast interfering, but I can't find any settings within Pitbull relating to click-casting. The macros only cease functioning when mapped to the mouse buttons - when I used regular hotkeys they work fine.

(I update daily using WowAce updater, all builds in the last few weeks have seen this problem)

Have I missed a setting somewhere, or included a module that's interfering? Or is this an actual bug?
