Yea true. I was thinking maybe in the 'function class:update(duration, time)' putting:
if(duration == 0) then CombatText_AddMessage(sb.name.." is ready", CombatText_StandardScroll, 0.5, 1, 1, "crit", true) end
or something like that. Been playing around with it but I haven't yet gotten it to work. Not sure if using sb.name is the correct way either.
If anyone has any ideas please post!
edit: figued it out
function class:update(duration, time)
if(duration == 0 and self:IsShown()) then
CombatText_AddMessage(self.name.." is ready", CombatText_StandardScroll, 0.5, 1, 1, "crit", true);
for k, v in ipairs(list) do
if(v == self) then
So you use self.name and put it into that function :) I think thats right.

any help extremely appreciated
Apr 2, 2008I'm currently using lyn fight to do this, awesome mod btw. But I was wondering if its possible to change the position of where the values start/spawn. As in the point where the info first appears, because at the moment its appearing in the middle of my ufs. I would like to move it up and above them.Posted in: General Chat
How would i go about doing this?
Is there some code that I could add to lyn fight?
Aug 29, 2007ok, i tried buffalo and it works well but i cant seem to find any options to change the buff timers. (other than the verbose and white settings)Posted in: Addon Ideas
like i said before, i would like to make them larger and easier to read without changing the icon size. Then if possible place them in the middle of the icon itself.
can buffalo do this? i went thru the options but couldnt find anything like it...
Aug 28, 2007is it possible to change them? that is, to change their size or position?Posted in: Addon Ideas
what im trying to do is increase the timer size and place it in the middle of the buff icon.
is there a mod that does this? if not, how would i go bout doin this?
Aug 4, 2007my current uiPosted in: General Chat
showing my version of seito's awesome 1st unitframes, using lanacan's oUF (gotta love 56kb unitframes)
still minimalist and quite light, sitting around 8.5mb.
clean - no target
normal - target
comments and suggestions are welcome!
also does anyone know of a mod which will change the timer of my buffs to work/look like my cooldown timers?
or a mod which changes the alpha of frames depending on whether u r in or out of combat?
Aug 1, 2007hey all,Posted in: Addon Ideas
i was wondering if any of the community knows of addons that are or can do the following:
Combo Point Display
ive been looking around for a long time trying to find a decent and updated combo point display. The only one ive found is NComboBar which imo is ugle as hell... i used to use the old statusbars combopoint display but that hasnt been updated for like 10 months and doesnt work properly...
Buff Mod which:
display the time left on the buff icon itself like a countdown, the same way OmniCC displays the cooldown on a spell.
a mod which will change any chosen frames's alpha depending whether or not they are in combat. so for instance OOC minimap is at 80% alpha and IC at 0% alpha.
edit: is this possible using visor?
ive been looking around but havent found any addons that can do these things... if u could point me to some i would greatly appreciate it!
i would make them myself but i have no clue how and wouldnt know where to start. im especially desperate for a decent CP display, if anyone would like to make one, similar to the old statusbars version... i and i think many other rogues would love u forever lol.
Jul 19, 2007Wobin and Seerah are right. i was looking for a simple addon which didnt have all those features, using an addon that did but then turned off would just be wasting memory.Posted in: Addon Ideas
so i stuck with onebag for a while, but then after searching around a bit i found BaudBag: http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/5420/
best bag mod imo. very light and has a nice bag joining feature. not ace however, but meh.
either way thanx to all who posted!
Jul 8, 2007yeah i am running with embedded libs, i was just concerned and found it strange that it all took so much memory while i only used three modules, was hoping to change that...Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
but yeah i searched around a bit and found MozzFullWorldMap for foglight, which works perfect and i tried out atlas, which is fine as well... both together used less memory then cartographer...
so i guess ill stay with that
thanx again for the help seerah

http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Category:Inventory_Addons -- The wiki is your friend (I am not)
actually, the first thing i did was go through that wiki and after that i used search. however neither of those gave me a mod that just showed all bags in one and nothing else. so i posted a thread in the hope that some nice helpful people (eg Seerah, JaedxRapture) might know of one.
so thanx seerah, ill give bagnon a go
and to JaedxRapture: yeah its true onebag is real ugly... ill have a look at skinner too, thanx

i was just wondering if there are any bag addons that just show ?all bags in one??
i don?t want any search or organising/sorting functions. just a simple all bags in one.
i know theres OneBag, but are there any others that I could try?
Jul 6, 2007hey,Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
i got a bit of a problem with cartographer
im currently using cartographer with the following modules:
as you can see im only using three modules, however for these modules to work i need to load Cartographer itself, a 2mb+ & increasing dependency.
i only have 512mb of ram and am already using quite a few other addons. so i was wondering, is there any possible way to make it less memory heavy, load only what is needed for those three modules? or otherwise is it possible to make the modules stand-alone? if not does anyone know any alternative addons i could use?
ps. i can live without ZoneInfo?
