I will be watching both Skillet threads for the upcoming merge, since GemHelper and Skillet has some inter-dependencies. (And also to make sure you included the BankItems format code change.)

Xin, my understanding is that he won't be including it, because BankItems won't be interfaced from Skillet's end. He's running his own inventory tracking in his branch rather than grabbing from other addons.

You can already do that. Click on the name of the template once you have it selected - the green text at the top - and it will allow you to change the name. Once you've changed it, press enter to save the name. :)

Yeah, handles everything but ui.worldofwar.net, because they blocked it in favor of their own UI updater (which is currently dead due to infringing code, ironically enough).

I think the problem there might be that I'm trying to cheat, and have both installed. The branch is in the folder "LilSkillet". Just gonna nuke Skillet then and go from there.

EDIT: Okay, it does tend to help if you install SVN before you beat your head against the desk. I thought I'd installed it, but instead installed a Windows shell extension for it. :)

EDIT2: And we have our first customer!

    When attempting to Void Shatter:

    Date: 2008-04-17 00:29:28
    ID: 51
    Error occured in: Global
    Count: 4
    Message: ..\AddOns\Skillet\SkilletQueue.lua line 290:

    Skillet\SkilletQueue.lua:349: CreateItems()

    [string "*:OnClick"]:1

This was after making 20 Bolts of Netherweave, then switching to Enchanting at the top, if that helps.

No, we (me with lilsparky) understood each other correctly - I requested to be able to update lilsparky's Skillet from SVN without the need to download the ZIP file from this thread, because WUU can update directly from SVN for me automatically. For creating the distribution ZIP file from SVN, lilsparky can use:
svn export -r HEAD --force "" target="" data-ensure-absolute>http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/Skillet/lilsparky/" "Skillet" for embedded version
svn export -r HEAD --force --ignore-externals "" target="" data-ensure-absolute>http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/Skillet/lilsparky/" "Skillet" for disembedded version
    and pack the directory afterwards.

k, can you toss me the config for WUU that you're using? I get nothing when I try to update via AceSVN. (Perhaps in a PM, to avoid extra thread clutter.)

Would it be possible to have a method to clean up old Templates?

I've got a ton of the things, and it's exceedingly frustrating to have to go in, select the template, click on Mode, click delete Template, click on Mode again, go to Template mode, rinse, repeat.

Even leaving it in Template mode and moving up or down one in the Template list would make it a lot easier all around.

Out of curiosity, have you gotten to the bottom of why Skillet refuses to iterate through on raw Netherweave and the like?

Not sure I'm being clear (tired), so I'll explain.

If I'm crafting something in engineering - say, Bronze Bombs - I need Coarse Blasting Powder and Bronze Bars. Skillet will look at my bags and report that I can make X of them based on Coarse Stones and Bronze Bars in my bag, and Queue All will queue up the blasting powder first, then the bombs.

If I do it with Netherweave Belt though, and I've got something like 80 Netherweave Cloth in my bags, Skillet tells me that I can't make any, instead of counting the cloth as "to be made into bolts" and figuring from there.

Also, is it possible to, when queueing up raw materials for something (such as bolts of netherweave) to give a notification if there are other items in other tradeskills queued on that character that use the same raw materials? I beat my head against the wall wondering why Skillet was ignoring precisely 36 Netherweave at all times on my tailor for about 2 months before I finally went into the Lua and discovered that I had 18 Heavy Netherweave Bandages queued in First Aid.

EDIT: re: "basing your zip out of SVN" and WUU - I think he's asking for you to put your zip file into SVN as well as everything else. Not entirely sure. All I know is, WUU's AceSVN isn't doing anything with what's there.

Got a quicky Online DB bug for ya.

When using the Online DB to get infos for the addon Identity, it correctly pulls up as Curse (which is where the currently updated version is), but lists it as ID 2016, which is actually Who Favorites. Identity is correctly 2316.

    THANK YOU!

I just joined a raid community, and their chat channel is a WALL of join/part. I've got moderator in the channel but people like having it so turning it off that way is no-go. Somehow I completely missed that Filtering wasn't enabled. :)

Being a nub that only scanned through a dozen or so pages of this thread, I'm posting to ask this question:

Is there a way for Prat to hide channel join/part messages? I've gone through everything I can think of, and I don't see anything, but I tend to miss the obvious.

Ah, you crazy Canucks, I love you so. :D

The only thing that I can think of is that I nudged the mouse when I clicked it. I did click on the +, but it may have hit the name instead.

Beyond that, I was using Skillet as well, those are the only skill-related addons I know of, and I know there's interop between the two.

Got the following when trying to expand out "Shrouding Potion" under Alchemy:

    Date: 2008-03-11 18:51:15
    ID: 52
    Error occured in: Global
    Count: 1
    Message: ..\AddOns\AckisRecipeList\ARLFrame.lua line 60:
attempt to index global 'ARL_MissingRecipeListing' (a nil value)
    Debug:
      [C]: ?
      AckisRecipeList\ARLFrame.lua:60:
       AckisRecipeList\ARLFrame.lua:34
    AddOns:
     AckisRecipeList, v0.66
    (Snip list of 120+ addons)

Subsequently, unable to expand out any other recipes.

Also, a suggestion I'd like to see would be the ability to filter recipes by skill level. With 5 70s and a 64 with two maxed skills, I'm really not concerned with old-world recipes or anything below 300, as an example, so something like "/arl filter skills level 300" to filter recipes 300 skill and lower would be awesome. :)

Oh, not sure if it's a bug or just a random alternate way to spell it, but the skill spec filter option appears to be misspelled. It's currently spelled "specialities" instead of "specialties". (Difference is an i between the l and t.)

No questions, bugs, or any of that.

Just wanted to say, playing without this addon makes me growl in frustration and throw my hands up in disgust. I'm even considering proposing it as a required addon for my guild.

Thank you for this fantastic tool you've given us!
