    I think what you have done is actually a pretty smart way to quickly get what you want or need. The list of ace addons hosted on this site is huge and the descriptions are usually too vague to not have to download to see if its a hit or a miss for you. The wiki does not have entries for most addons and even then the description doesn't give enough information tell you if its worth relogging to check out. One thing that the major addons sites has are the shots and descriptions, but that is not what this site is really for i think. Sometimes you will get a screen shot of an addon in the Addons forum when an author announces it, but that isn't always the case. Many of the addons are not mentioned on this site at all by their authors.

    I have been trolling here for a very long time and I have seen things in your screen shot that I hadn't known existed or even seen the genius of having something like that. For instance the percent value for durability, never even thought to look for a solution like that until i saw your screen shot.

    It would take you a long time to try each one individually to see if you like it. A process of elimination could get you there much quicker. Sorry you got such shitty responses for your fresh approach to the task of making your version of a perfect UI.

    I thought it would be interesting to have status bars, in an addon such as Class Timer or Chronometer, whose length is determined by the duration of each debuff or buff. The user would set how long a second would be. Then the status bars would fill and deplete at the same speed. So if you set up the bars to display a second as 10 pixels of length, then your Corruption (18 second debuff) would start as being 180 pixels wide and your Curse of Agony would start as being 240 pixels wide.

    Maybe there could be some kind of cap on the length for very long debuffs like vulnerability spells such as Curse of Shadow. Perhaps the bar could be somehow visually different when the duration goes over a certain length

    I think this would be a much easier way to use such timers, as you could see at a glance how long you had before reapplying debuffs or buffs, rather than watching the bars to gauge which is the speed at which bars are depleting and how much bar is left.

    This might also be interesting in casting bars and unit bars, where length is determined by casting time for the spell or max health, but I could see problems with those, such as epic targets or very long casting times going off the screen. Could be good though.

    Problem is, I can't code. I have only had limited success at tweeking addons that other people write. So I was wondering if anyone was interested in helping me with something like this.

    I like the energy ticker right where it is, but that is just my own opinion. The new enemy cast bar is awesome! I put mine next to the enemies health bar, opposite of my cast bar. Kicking has never been better!

    Try out a lot of different addons that will satify your needs if you can't write or modify your own. Ace2 addons are not necessarly better performers than non Ace2 addons. I have reverted back to many non-Ace addons, simply because the Ace2 addon performed poorly and was not worth saving the memory. Other times the performance and memory use is superlative to some addon I was using. This is one of many places where I go looking for new UI ideas and tools, as well as educating me on how to create or alter addons.

    Would be awesome if I could have the background of the health bar flash something like orange to contrast with the green health bar and not look too much like the enemy's red health bar.

    First off, I wanted to say that I absolutely love this HUD. I have tried almost all of them ever since Iriel made the first attempt and Statrings and I have found Ice to have the answers to all my complaints with Nurfed/Arc/Moog/Drathul's/Meta/DART setups/etc.

    One thing that I do have a slight wish for in this HUD is an option to change the flash color of the emergency threshold alert. I tried it on my Health bar but it was making this bar's background flash the same color as the bar itself, making it really hard to see how much health I had at a glance. I don't know if there is already an option to change it to a different color, but I could not find one for the life of me.

    Downloaded recent version from the Addons - Beta list. Still not hiding buffs and weapon buffs after reload. Even if the option to hide is still checked in the dewdrop options. Had to make them small and hide them under my action bar so its not the end of the world for me, but I thought I should mention it.
