I thought bar paging only worked with bar 1? Anyway, If you're a warrior, you may want to actually specify bar 1 for battle stance, as I think it otherwise defaults to bar 7.

Ah, that explains it as I tend to average about 30 FPS. I can live with that amount of lag. Thanks for working on this addon, I'm in love with it!

48477 seems to be working with Bartender3 again. The L2C display sometimes does seem to lag a bit after paging (waiting for the next mana tick maybe?), but if I wait a bit it will eventually display the correct values.

Seeing the same thing, also since 48135. Once I switch back to normal mode, the target template vanishes.

Interesting, it does sound like what's happening since 6 would be alphanumerically 'greater' than 53...
I know next to nothing about Lua, but looking at the DogTag code, it looks like [Level] can return either a string or number (to account for "??" levels I guess) and IsEqual() can accept either a string or number. Not sure why it's counting numeric levels a string though. Bugging it on Jira sounds like the thing to do.

The Add/Sub doesn't appear to be working. I'm 53 and there's lvl 6 mobs that are red to me.

I use Add() for my NumTargeting line (to account for my pet if any), and it works there. Are all of them showing red or are you getting various colors? Could you copy and paste your DogTags here?

At an educated guess, I'd say one of the embedded libraries has gotten updated, but that's just a hypothesis on my part.

Seems to be working for me. I don't use Omen, so perhaps it's doing something that's confusing MacAceUpdater? I know when I used TinyTip, it used to constantly confuse the updater (somehow it was registering the version # of one of its libraries, not TT itself).

    [Level:IsEqual(??)?Text(Level):Red!Text(Level):DifficultyColor] [Level:IsEqual(??)?Level:Red!Level:DifficultyColor] [Level:IsEqual(??)?Classification:Red!Classification:DifficultyColor] [SmartRace] [IsPlayer?SmartClass:ClassColor]

Have you tried rolling all those DifficultyColor texts into one tag? This is how I'd do something like that:
    [Level:IsEqual(??)?Text(Level [Level] [Classification]):Red!Text(Level [Level] [Classification]):DifficultyColor] [SmartRace] [IsPlayer?SmartClass:ClassColor]

Today's update (r48162) seems to have changed behaviour with Bartender3 paging (see my post immediately above). Thank you! However, it is still buggy: with this update, the l2c display does update when bars page in and out, but they always seem to display the numbers for the previously-active bar. I tested this with several characters and the behaviour was the same. I'm glad this addon is seeing some progress, as I can see it'll be extremely useful once it works for me. Getting tantalizingly close...

The pet bar does not seem to respect the "lock buttons" setting. With the setting on, I cannot move buttons around on other bars, but I still can on the pet bar. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, that would do it. If [Fuschia]'s not the colour you want, try playing with [Color()] tags (for instance, [Color(f58cba)] would give you Paladin Pink). My guild line currently looks like this:
    [[Guild:IsEqual([Guild#player])]?Guild:Angle:Cyan][IsPlayer?Guild?[Guild:~IsEqual([Guild#player])]?Guild:Angle:HostileColor][IsPet?HappyText?Guild:Paren:HappyColor!Guild:Paren:HostileColor][~IsPlayerOrPet?Guild?Guild:Paren:Gray]

Basically: if same guild as me, Cyan. If player but other guild, HostileColor. If pet and I know the happiness (i.e. my pet), HappyColor, otherwise HostileColor. If NPC, (e.g. "Innkeeper") Gray. If no guild, no blank line. Angle brackets for players, Parens for everyone else.

from page21 - tinytip-like setup. guild line looks like:
    [Guild:IsEqual([Guild#player])?Fuchsia][Guild:Angle]

I seem to recall getting similar issues when I set up my Dogtags that way (i.e. breaking out the color code); try embedding in in one big tag. Just to be paranoid, I'd also put an initial [Guild?] check first to catch non-guilded players. Try this (it's close to what I use):
    [Guild?[Guild:IsEqual([Guild#player])?Guild:Fuchsia:Angle!Guild:Angle]]

btw: How do i create an empty line with CowTip? It would help me so much keeping the tooltip organized with lots of data.

If all you want is an empty line and not a separator-like thing, try [Text( )], that should work.

@phillips: Are any UI errors generated when mousing over another unit?

Nope, no errors generated, either when I was using all my usual addons or when I stripped it down for testing.
