Is there any way (including editing BT3 code, but not, say, writing an entirely new addon by any means) to have BT3 bars anchor to ANY frame of your choice, like DAB used to?
Because if anyone knows how, I'd personally deliver them one million internets.

Oct 19, 2007PitBull update from about an hour ago basically is preventing my mods from loading. Error from the Rock 1.0 library, IsModuleActive returning Nil.Posted in: Unit Frames
Edit: Hayyy, version from a week ago has the same problem. Mayhaps something else is the source...
Edit2: Updating CowTip and FuBar fixed it. I are winnur.

I tried playing with column anchor points, but nothing changed. Can you even set those to center? I guess what gets me is that the columns seem like they don't have the same anchor, even though they should.
Aug 8, 2007Wouldn't I have to alternate the column anchor on each new addition to the raid, though? I'm a little clueless here as to syntax, seeing as a layout is just passing one big list back to Grid. Can I use nameList to access individual raid members for positioning?Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Sorry, it's a little hard to just jump in with just that documentation x_x;

Currently I'm working on a non-widescreen UI specifically catering to healers. The biggest problem that arises is the raid frames end up sitting on the side of the screen, and you lose sight of the action while you're healing.
The solution, of course, was to stick the frames right in the middle. However, you can't have a 25 man raid sticking right up above your action bars. My idea was to have (assuming Grid is set to show always) is to have the player's frame dead center, then as people join the party, they fill in alternating left to right. Once the Grid frame reaches a (user specified?) width (measured in # of players visible) it begins a new row. Ideally, this could display a 25 man raid neatly in 2 rows, a 40 man raid in 3, each using width and height differently to remain effective.
I'm not really sure if this is currently possible simply by making a layout or not, but currently, Grid seems very "group" based. (Read: Incondusive to this feature.)
Your thoughts are appreciated.
