There are like two patterns from each specialty in leatherworking that all lws can learn. Are you sure the recipes you see are specific to only that specialty?
Yes, I'm sure. Starting about a week ago I started seeing the following recipes in my ARL output on my tribal LW:
Dragonstrike Leggings
Blackstorm Leggings
Primalstorm Breastplate
Golden Dragonstrike Breastplate
Ebon Netherscale Belt
Ebon Netherscale Breastplate
Ebon Netherscale Bracers
Primalstrike Vest
Primalstrike Bracers
Netherstrike Bracers
Primalstrike Belt
Netherstrike Breastplate
Netherstrike Belt
These are all elemental or dragonscale leatherworking. They appear in my ARL output whether Filter -> Specialties is checked or unchecked.
Leatherworking specialization is definitely broken using build 76171. The Filter -> Specialties option has no effect on the output list. I'm a tribal LW and keep seeing dragonscale and elemental LW patterns show up in my list regardless of the state of the Filer -> Specialties checkbox. I removed ARL from WoW\Interface\Addons and reinstalled it. Is there another file somewhere that needs to be purged?
Here's the first few errors I get from ARL with the latest version (edit: version 71567). It hoses many many things (Omen, Eavesdrop, Recount, etc). Definitely one of my favorite addons though!

I'm not sure if this is really a PitBull problem or a DogTag problem. When I play my druid and I'm grouped with another druid, the incorrect druid form is sometimes displayed for my character. This happens when the other druid goes into Tree of Life form. Provided I'm in caster form (that is, no form at all, just a Tauren standing there) my own player frame indicates that I am in Tree of Life form. When I switch to cat or bear form, the display switches and correctly indicates my feral form. I'm not sure what happens if I shift back to caster form, I haven't paid attention to that. I'm also not sure if this is happening when I'm grouped with a druid in moonkin form, but I'd wager it happens there as well.
It looks like this is one of the many small features that were dropped when the new meta frames were introduced. I'd love for someone to prove me wrong though.
I tried that and it's not what I want. Here's the old layout I had:
The portrait frame rested on top of the casting bar frame (although this image shows it on top of the reputation bar, but you get the general idea). Is there a way to replicate this with the new meta layouts? It was extremely useful for combo points because I could set the target portrait to the right hand side, have combo points appear in the casting bar, and debuffs appear below the target frame. Combo point text was then to the right of the target frame as an additional UI hint.
With the move to the meta-layout, it looks like we can no longer adjust the height of portraits. The menu commands are still there, but grayed out. Is this feature coming back at some point? I had built a great layout with resized portraits, but it's unworkable with full sized ones. (I can't see my combo points as well, no matter where I put them.)
...if it were implemented, would I have told you to post it on the wish list?
Sorry, there's a metric ton of options and I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something before asking for a feature. I personally hate it when folks submit feature requests for stuff that's already there. :(
Thanks for the feedback. I've added my request to the wish list.
Is it possible to do the following with PitBull raid frames? The only buffs I want to see are HoTs, but I want to see HoTs from all classes. For example, I want to see all of the Lifeblooms, Rejuvenations, Regrowths, and Renews on my raid frames. Right now it looks like I can filter the buff auras to show/hide my class buffs or I can see all buffs, but I can't say "I only want to see these particular buffs". Is it there but I'm just missing it?
This would make raid healing with PitBull much easier if it can be done.

Thanks, all fixed now!

Personally I still run 1.9.24 for this very reason. Give me a PayPal button instead of ads and I'll gladly give you some money.
