May 3, 2007First off I wanted to say great mod and thanks for all the work everyone. I used DUF for more than a year and havent changed my layout in about so much time. I'll probably write my own layout with salvaged parts form the others. Looking over the layouts that are provided I had a few questions.Posted in: Unit Frames
Is there a good reference that I should read/follow to get familiar with the layout/db file structure?
In Sheerah's layout there is no mention of portrait in the lua, yet when I switch to that layout there is a portrait. Where does it get the info if it is not in Sheerah.lua?
Lastly, If I wanted to call the portrait frame twice, like one for the 2D and one for the icon (no I just dont' like looking at myself). would I add another section to the lua like:
function ABF.secondportrait(unit, frame)
Once more people start using pitbull it may be nice to start a custom layout thread.
Again thanks for all the great work

can you add an option to bartender that allows locking of buttons when using shift+drag or ability to modify the button to drag abilitys. some of my stances are keybound to shift+other keys, and can be annoying when i click something on my bar, it will move and get removed. bongos has this feature but i want to use bartender for it. if this option is already in bartender can u plz point it out to me because i can not find it. thanks for your time =p
I didn't see an answer to this and maybe I misunderstand the question.
But if you lock the bars and lock the buttons(I use Niagara for all this), you can still move buttons around with shift-click and drag.
Is that what you was asking?
Yes. You can still drag buttons off the bars if you shift-drag, even when they are "locked" in the options. This is very annoying if you make macros and stuff that use the shift-click function on them. Dragging the taunt button off my bar in a fight is a bad thing :P
Mar 30, 2007First off great bar mod, thanks for all the hard work.Posted in: General AddOns
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, I searched, I really did :P
Does the shift+dragging the buttons actually drag the buttons even if the lock buttons option is checked? I didn't see this in the options anywhere, but it's very annoying for me. I don't think it's another mod making it do this, or the default wow options. If so is there a way to change/disable this?
