rayanea are you sure BadBoy is actually enabled? For example your first post should have been filtered.
Yes, I'm pretty sure it was.
I remember BadBoy filtering the "mmoggg" URLs but since they added another "m" it might pass through the filter. I'm no specialist by far concerning the the regex used so, to me, that might be the only explanation.
forgive me if this is a noobish question but from a simple user-common sense point of view I would suggest the following:
Well, regarding the possible conversion from URLs to phrases, wouldn't it be more convenient to keep the URLs since internet addresses are (more or less) universal for all languages while, on the other hand, phrases need to be collected and maintained for every single localisation - which then, in my humble opinion, would sort of spoil the easiness and overall effectiveness of this great addon. By "spoiling" I mean usefulness for users with different languages, if one language is more thoroughly maintained and updated than the other, while URLs would work for all localisations. Let alone, collecting URLs seems much easier than dissecting phrases which can be altered by goldspammers in no time to avoid this little BadBoy :-)
If I missed a point or if it's simply crap, just forgive the stuff above, just my 2 cents from a loyal user ;-)

(The top level domain at the end of the last URL was missing in the spam text, no copy / paste mistake :))

The text was also highly decorated with raid icons, unfortunately BasicChatMods didn't catch them.

As a long time user of this tiny but pretty helpful addon, I really do miss this feature a lot.
