    Since, with the Bartender Skin, my UI is now complete, I wanted to show you the results. Maybe it will inspire more people to use skinner!

    I'm a girl and I like things 'pretty'. However, I'm also a gamer and I like things practical too. But most of all, I like things exactly the way I want them!
    So there's absolutely nothing original anymore about my interface, but my god is it pretty!

    The design is the same on all my characters but the colours are designed around the characters themselves, mostly my transmogs. So I have 1 interface (with minor class-specific changes) and 4 colour schemes, red+gold, purple+gold, blue+gold and black+gold.

    In a 40-man raid:

    My fire mage:

    My holy priest:

    My farming druid:

    Apart from Skinner I use other addons that affect my UI, like KGPanels, Bartender, Quarts, Pitbull4 etc.

    Open Skinner\UIFrames.lua, find line 1786 and change:
    self:addSkinFrame{obj=G.MovieFrame.CloseDialog, ft=ftype}
    to:
    self:addSkinFrame{obj=_G.MovieFrame.CloseDialog, ft=ftype}

    Just add the underscore in front of the G.

    That fixed it for me, thanks! :)

    When I load the newest version of Skinner I get an error loading movie frame. It says:

    Message: Interface\AddOns\Skinner\UIFrames.lua:1786: attempt to index global 'G' (a nil value)

    Also I don't see any difference to the button borders, but the change you made may be unrelated to my earlier question (about Bartender action bar buttons)/

    Thank you so much for your ongoing hard work and improvements though!

    I use Bartender 4 for my action bars.

    I have turned 'skin buttons' and 'skin button borders' on.

    My bag bar and menu bar are being skinned perfectly.
    My action bars, however, are not skinned at all?

    Is this because there is no addon skin for bartender? Or have I got a setting wrong somewhere? I know I could use masque to skin my buttons, but I want it to match the rest of my interface, so I'd rather let Skinner handle it.

    Hi SerraAngel44,
    What version of Carbonite are you using and where did you get it from? I based the skin on v5.1.6 from Curse.

    According to my Carbonite.toc my version is Carbonite 5.4.0 alpha 2, which was last updated on the 7th of October 2013. I got it off wowinterface, but Curse client recognizes and updates it for me automatically.

    Rythal (author of Carbonite) says this:
    "Because it's currently in an inbetween period... The 5.3 patch came at a bad time. Carbonite is dead, i'm not updating it anymore.

    However I am working on Carbonite2 which is what the Alpha release is, but until I get 2 more things added to it that are on my roadmap I'm not releasing Carbonite2 as an official release version. It's currently called Carbonite Alpha so people can get it, and have curse update it as I release new versions. Without marking it as alpha it would of caused many issues previously as everything about Carbonite has changed in some way, and the two versions are not compatable with each other."

    and

    "To see the alpha release you need to set your curse client settings for carbonite to Alpha releases... "
    and

    I'm sorry the say the version that you got from Curse (5.1.6.) is not the new version of Carbonite, it has been abandoned and will no longer be updated. I am truly sorry, I should have been more specific.

    Wiped all my saved variables for Carbonite from all of my chars on my account... reinstalled Carbonite as well as Skinner, disabled every addon apart from Skinner, Carbonite and Lib-SharedMedia (required by Skinner), still get this error message on login:

    Dear Jncl, thank you for all the hard work you put into skinner and for the recent updates.
    I saw you had addressed the issue for Carbonite, however when I re-enabled the Carbonite skin I got the following lua error:

    I run Carbonite version 5.1.6., the lastest alpha release.
