    Hi

    Is there a way of excluding an NPC from the [Guild] tag?

    I'd rather not see something like 'Guild: Innkeeper' or 'Guild: Fruid Vendor' when I hover over them :)

    I don't suppose there is any command like [~IsNPC ? Guild:Hide(Not Specified)]

    Thanks in advance.

    [IsPlayer ? Guild]

    I haven't actually tried [CanAttack] yet, but I imagine it just returns a true or false, so if you want to use it to get back default white text for all friendly targets regardless of level, you'd use something like:
    [CanAttack?Level:DifficultyColor!Level]

    I use
    [IsFriend?Level!Level:DifficultyColor]

    that way it shows dif color for enemy players aswell

    I use this code in both Cowtip and Pitbull
    [Classification:DifficultyColor] [[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Non-combat Pet)]?Level:DifficultyColor] [[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Critter)]?[~IsPlayer:Name:HideContains(Dummy)]?[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Non-combat Pet)]?Class:ClassColor:Hide(Unknown):Hide(Not specified)] [DruidForm:Paren] [[IsEnemy:SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Critter)]?SmartRace:Hide(Unknown):Hide(Not specified)] [~IsPlayer?SmartRace:IsNotEqual([CreatureType])?CreatureType]

    cowtip shows it like I want to, but pitbull does not show the class of the target if its not a player. can any1 help me?
    edit: looks like its only friendly non players that are affected

    Currently managed to squeeze this in:

    [Class#player:IsEqual(Druid)?~Status?~HasAura(Gift of the Wild)?~HasAura(Mark of the Wild)?Text(MotW):Color(FF7D0A)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Druid)?~Status?HasAura(Thorns)?Text(Th):Color(ff7d0a)][Class#player:IsEqual(Druid)?HasAura(Rejuvenation)?Text(Rj):Color(00FF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Druid)?HasAura(Regrowth)?Text(Rg):Color(00FF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Druid)?HasAura(Lifebloom)?Text(Lb):Color(00FF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Hunter)?HasAura(Misdirection)?Text(Md):Color(ABD473)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Mage)?~Status?~HasAura(Arcane Brilliance)?~HasAura(Arcane Intellect)?Text(AI):Color(69CCF0)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Mage)?HasAura(Amplify Magic)?Text(Am):Color(69CCF0)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Mage)?HasAura(Dampen Magic)?Text(Dm):Color(69CCF0)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Paladin)?HasAura(Blessing of Protection)?Text(BoP):Color(FFFF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Paladin)?HasAura(Divine Intervention)?Text(DI):Color(FFFF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?~Status?~HasAura(Prayer of Fortitude)?~HasAura(Power Word: Fortitude)?Text(PW:F):Color(FFFFFF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?~Status?HasAura(Prayer of Shadow Protection)?HasAura(Shadow Protection)?Text(SP):Color(FFFFFF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?~Status?HasAura(Prayer of Spirit)?HasAura(Divine Spirit)?Text(SP):Color(FFFFFF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?HasAura(Renew)?Text(R):Color(FFFF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?HasAura(Power Word: Shield)?Text(PW:S):Color(FFFF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Priest)?HasAura(Prayer of Mending)?Text(PoM):Color(FFFF00)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Shaman)?HasAura(Earth Shield)?Text(ES):Color(2459FF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Shaman)?HasAura(Bloodlust)?Text(BL):Color(2459FF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Shaman)?HasAura(Heroism)?Text(He):Color(2459FF)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Warlock)?HasAura(Soulstone Resurrection)?Text(SS):Color(9482CA)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Warlock)?HasAura(Detect Invisibilty)?Text(DI):Color(9482CA)] [Class#player:IsEqual(Warlock)?HasAura(Underwater Breathing)?Text(UB):Color(9482CA)]

    I cant get it to identify the buffs, have you tested it?

    I'm using
    [Classification:DifficultyColor] [[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Non-combat Pet)]?Level:DifficultyColor] [[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Critter)]?[~IsPlayer:Name:HideContains(Dummy)]?[SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Non-combat Pet)]?Class:ClassColor:Hide(Unknown):Hide(Not specified)] [DruidForm:Paren] [[IsEnemy:SmartRace:IsNotEqual(Critter)]?SmartRace:Hide(Unknown):Hide(Not specified)] [~IsPlayer?SmartRace:IsNotEqual([CreatureType])?CreatureType]

    in one line, so you got some room
    edit: but thats in CowTip btw

    Aha, I tossed a ~Status in there and it seems to be working great for dead/offline etc, thanks!

    Any idea on how to make text only display on a per class basis?

    your class or the targets class? :)

    I've been tinkering with some of the aura tags with a view to using Pitbull raid frames, but I seem to have run into a couple of problems.

    I'm using this tag (Found in another thread) to display "Th" when the person needs buffing with Thorns:

    [~HasAura(Thorns)?Text(Th)]

    It works perfecly on my Druid, but if I switch to another class, it also shows up there, is there any way to make the text only display when on the Druid?

    Also, is there a way to stop these texts from showing if the person is dead/offline?

    [~Dead?~HasAura(Thorns)?Text(Th)]

    /drycoded

    How would I display a unit's missing HP, with a negative sign, abbreviated to 3 or fewer digits?

    [MissingHP:VeryShort:Negate] doesn't work, nor any combination of those three tags. I either get an error, or the minus sign for numbers < 1k only.

    [SmartMissingHP:VeryShort]

    maybe, untested atm

    I did a quick overview of this thread and it looked kinda complacated - any chance some guru here could help me out with my desire for my tooltip view.

    Level(white) Name(In class color)
    <Guild>
    Talents (X/X/X)

    For example:

    54 Tekesh
    <svinkallt>
    Shadow (2/0/42)

    I did some messing around with the strings already in the default setup, but i get loads of crap strings which i don't want after the vital information. It's just jumbled code strings by the looks of it.

    //Regards, Tekesh

    that would be:
    [Level] [Name:ClassColor]
    [Guild:Angle]
    [TalentTree] [TalentSpec]

    I am using this dogtag for the name
    [IsPlayerOrPet?[IsEnemy?[PvP?[PvP#player?Red!Yellow]!PvP#player?Yellow!ClassColor]!ClassColor]!HostileColor][Name]

    it will show the hostilecolor of all non players, will show enemy players as yellow if they got PvP on, Red if they are PvP and self is PvP, yellow if only self is PvP, else it will show their classcolor. friendly players will be shown in classcolor
