Is the above-average memory footprint of Aloft common or is it just me? It doesn't overly bother me, but outside of Auctioneer doing a scan it's #1 at ~6mb. Are there tags or changes that I can make to attempt and reduce/optimize the footprint?

Disable data collection, clear Aloft's savedvariables, and you'll see a nice reduction.

support for drums of war, drums of restoration and drums of panic cd grouping.. :D

I unchecked all pot shared cooldowns except healing pot, so everytime I use any pot I see "Healing Pot" button only. As its distinct looking its easy to see and works good for me.

Lock health stones can come up with 2 buttons though (if you got all 3 types and take 1).

Edit: In other words, hide all but one of the drums and you've got the same effect.

I haven't tried it out much in 2.4, but here's my local copy of Jim's CDP. Give it a whirl, it was working last time I checked.

Make sure to delete its savedvariables. PM me with any error messages you get with it, I'll see about fixing them.

Edit: Helps if I attach the file.

I've noticed a slight issue with cooldown detection. If you use a spell or item right as its cooldown comes up (Chain chugging pots for example) the cooldown won't register again. This is likely something you're aware of, but thought I'd mention it for the rewrite you're working on.

    Haven't seen that, and I'm an MS spamming bastard. >.>;;

@Devi: <3 Jim's. Still, I've retired it in favor of an expiring cooldowns bar right where I'm normally looking. My only request would be to add a sound option for cooldowns coming up (IE: Copy over that lovely heartbeat sound from Jim's).

Well, that and adding exclusion for the expiring cooldowns, but that's a tiny request just for completeness' sake. :P

I've seen the flickering too. Really don't mind it, it's eye-catching enough when it happens that I'll sometimes notice a cooldown that I wouldn't have.

Anyway, looks like the icon textures are flipping (IE: texture mirroring) rather than swapping places. I got a decent look at it last time I was on my Warrior. Couldn't tell you the conditions to reproduce other than playing a class with lots of short cooldowns (a 40+ Warrior's easiest to reproduce with, or maybe if you've got a healer with lots of trinkets). Only happens rarely.

I'm not sure if it's added or not (haven't tweaked mine in a while), but is there a way to exclude items from the Expiring Cooldown section?

Thats the thing, I tried to delete it, but it wouldn't let me. Is it because its one of the default bars? cause I can delete additional bars that I create, just not the original HP one.

    Sorry for the slow reply.

Merl fixed bar deletion a while ago, I remember testing it after seeing the changes. If you're not using SVN updates from branches, you may want to.

Of course, I might be horribly wrong.

The only way currently to disable a bar is to delete it. /mhud -> Bars -> BarX (where X is the bar number you want to delete), click 'Remove this bar'.

If you need the bar back you can either reload the skin/profile, or just create a new bar to suit your needs. Either of those options are pretty easy, especially if you're using the default settings of a skin anyway.

Threat isn't back in yet. Give it some time, it'll come soon enough.

Alright guys, here's an early version of my mHud skin - mHud_sArcasm.

Completely original bars created in Photoshop. Includes player, target, and focus out of the zip. Custom alpha and falloff settings are also included for those of us weening from DHud/Metahud/etc.

Combo points, pet status, and shapeshift mana aren't currently in, however I am working on them. In the meantime, editing the current bars to suit your needs (or, in the case of combo points, using stock textures) works just fine.

    Screenshots coming soon.

Whoops. That goes to proof that one should never proofread addons at 5am, or 20 minutes before work.

As for the big error, nuking SVs got it to work. Replacing 'gradiant' in SVs didn't, for some reason. *shrug*

Just need to tweak a couple things and it'll be ready.

Disabling Baggins just spawns the same error with PT3Bar. Not quite sure what's up. Only happened after updating to the latest SVN build.

Also, question on the skin before I head out to work. Only reason it's not ready yet is because I'm getting cockblocked by Lua syntax. Error:
    [2008/03/21 16:21:07-233-x1]: mHud_sArcasm\mHud_sArcasm.lua:29: '}' expected (to close '{' at line 27) near '['

At first I thought I hadn't closed a table (several of which I hadn't, GG editing too quickly, but I'm still getting the same error after going through it a few times), it really doesn't seem to like my alpha template table.

I'll probably end up just commenting out the alpha templates, but in the meantime would you mind proofreading to see where that error really is?

    <snip>
Ideally it would be good to be able to target the mob / player being cc'ed with left mouse on the timer bars and dispell (or refresh the CC for thinks like shak / poly) with right mouse.

Check out ControlFreak for easy reapplication of CC. Integrating it into dynamic timers can't be done, however - It's a limitation of the UI, I won't go into more detail.

NECB is fine. Ace is not a magical addon cure-all, it's a framework designed to make things run more smoothly and efficiently between multiple addons. If NECB is not breaking your UI, there's no reason to switch away from it.

That said, I believe Antagonist does CC durations, but don't quote me on that.

    http://wowace.com/wiki/WowAceUpdater

That's your "download your stuff here" link. You don't even have to worry about libraries (AceEvent, AceComm, etc). Run the program, it'll print out a nice list of Ace addons you currently have installed, and also what's available from... http://files.wowace.com (Another "download your stuff here" link, btw).

It's pretty easy to use, just put a checkmark on the addons you want and then read through the File menu for the options that suit your momentary needs.

Wowace is only a confusing website if you're only here to download some addons that your raidleader told you to get. This is an addon development hub which is not, has never been, and probably never will be specifically tailored for the end user.

I apologize if this comes off as abrasive, I really don't mean to be rude. Please understand, however, that Wowace is not Curse or Wowinterface.

EDIT: Attached a screenshot of the updater in action. Enjoy.
