Can anyone tell me what are the main differences between eCastingBar and Quartz?

(I'm not trying to start any flame war, argument, etc. I just want to know if Quartz/eCastingBar offers a feature the other doesn't, performance differences, stuff like that.)

-Ability to set Width/Height is as far and complex I think it should be
-Ability to set Font Face/Size
-Ability to position the text within the bar (center, left, right)
-Ability to modify the displayed name of a DoT, HoT, etc. (Example: Instead of 'Curse of Agony' you could configure it to show 'CoA', I think this would greatly improve my wish to use this Addon)

Yeah, I absolutely loved the new "Addon Preferences" option, tons better.

Oh this is looking beautiful, just tested it and so far I'm loving it.

Bugs:
1) Select a target cast hot, cast a hot on myself using the alt key, as soon as select another mob or click else where the first hot is gone. (Nevermind, last update fixed this)
2) For a moment I selected the chat as output method and switched back to Parrot, my chat is being spammed by messages such as "Spellreminder:cast etc etc"

A few suggestions:
1) Add textures
2) Make it so it's possible to modify the bar width without having to scale a bar. (scaling it to my likings usually makes it impossible to read)
3) Font selection for the text in the bars as well font size.

Keep up the good work!

I've heard that tossed about but have never seen anyone actually name a poorly-written addon. I think many of us would like to know which addons we should avoid.

Some authors would be offended to have their addons listed in a "worst of WowAce" post. :P

Perhaps it would motivate them to improve it if you made your criticism in a polite way, proving a point and showing deficiencies rather than "zomg ur addon sux!!!!111", as well making yourself available to help them. (Ace2 dev team?)

Ace 2 Core? I've never downloaded anything like that, I thought all addons embedded Ace's lib into it and that you wouldn't need to install anything else.

Such a waste of a good addon, too bad it entirely messes up buffs icons/names.

I'm not sure this is a problem or misconfiguration, to me it sounds like a problem, so yeah. Recently whenever someone leaves the party a random star raid icon gets assigned to a party member and/or pet, sometimes both and I can't remove it at all. Anyone else experiencing this?

Look into the screenshot and you might see both the pet and party member each receiving a raid star, it appeared right after that one guy left the party.

Has Antiarc resumed his work on Sanity or still more or so on hold?

I'm sorry but I haven't read the rest of the posts, so I'll just post my question.

Is it possible to have DrDamage instantly update the text on action bars upon upgrading spells? Seems kinda sluggish to me, something more like event driven.
