Thanks for the plugin!
I realise this is not a HOT per say, but is there any chance you could add information on who has prayer of mending on them and how many charges are left and perhaps also one for whether it's your prayer of mending or not. In a raid, it will be difficult to determine if somebody already has prayer of mending on them and so on.
If im not mistaking you will be able to do this in Grid by manually adding it to the Aura section as a buff called : Prayer of Mending (just as eg. power word: shield or similar), about how many charges i dont know.

Status modules I'd like to see (or I will someday write):
GridStatusMainTank - Highlight the oRA/CTRA main tanks.
GridStatusResurrect - Listen to CTRA's communication channel for incoming reses and display who is already being ressed, highlight the person who you should res next.
I hope you write these :) Thinking about maybe writing something here myself.

I like your GridLayoutForHealers enhancement a lot, but would like to change the "tank" selection to any warrior/druid/pally(maybe selectable) found on the (ora2 or ct_raid) MT list. I ran this in our last naxx run but we had like 6 warroirs in the raid and it sort of expanded my grid gui outside of the area I allowed for it, and some of those warriors were DPS.
I have a version that almost works, but it requires you to /rl (reloadui) after MT's are set in oRA2.
Havent figured out yet how to do it.
Jan 13, 2007_ForgeUser1189624 posted a message on GridStatusHots -> Shows your HoT(s) remaing time and total HoTsI'm rewriting the statusmodule so it will show the following :Posted in: Grid & Grid2
1. Seperate indicator for Your HoT(s) on a specific target.
2. Remaining running time of your HoT(s) in seconds
3. Total number of HoT's running on any target.
Since HoTs stack is nice to know when the HoTs you threw is running or expiring.
This way we can maximize HoT healing, instead of guessing and recast and waste mana.
Menu options are :
Buff: My Renew -> (indicators: border, corners, texts)
Buff: Hot Count -> (indicators: texts)
Buff: My Rejuvenation -> (indicators: border, corners, texts)
Buff: My Regrowth -> (indicators: border, corners, texts)
Buff: My Lifebloom -> (indicators: border, corners, texts)
Buff: Hot Count -> (indicators: texts)
If you throw both rejuv and regrowth rejuv has priority since regrowth runs longer.

Shadmar, I have a feature request for GridstatusHots. Could you add support for the Priest T2 8/8 hot? I've made my own version to accommodate for it, but it would be nicer if you integrated it;) The name of the hot is: "Greater Heal" and is a 15 sec hot.
Another modification I made for personal use is that if I have 2 hots ticking at the same time that I concatenate both the times together in a color between both, in the text of hot1. (like: "14.9 7.4" in greenish blue when renew color is green and greater heal color is blue)I use "center text 2" to show the hot times and I want to be able to see both the hots at the same time in this field. I'm unsure if this would be too specific for my needs though... Maybe there are other viable solutions.
1. Yes I probably could implement this T2 8/8 hot in the module.
2. I dont know about your last request, its hard for me to test such a feature and Im not really sure would want it?

Dec 31, 2006I suppose we could discuss grid modules in the Grid thread but it seems better to have an seperate one.Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Suggestions and requests maybe (Im not a lua expert so I cant write your requests, but others may will :) )
For Grid see : http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Grid

I would love to see an option that (if you have a renew indicator in the left bottom corner for example) that this indicator only shows if it is your own renew. I'm afraid this might be hard to implement...
Too bad the chronometer bars aren't clickable anymore :(
I wrote a statusmodule for this, you can test it and give me som feedback

Dec 12, 2006I wrote a small statusmodule for tracking my own HoTs (Renew) since they now stack.Posted in: Grid & Grid2
As I've read its not 100% accurate because you dont know for sure if your HoT has been dispelled.
What it does is
- Timing your HoT (renew for 15 sec or rejuv for 12 sec) on event spellcast succeed -> StatusGain
- 15(renew)/12(rejuv) sec is up or UnitHasBuff (all must be gone) on UnitBuffLost event -> StatusLost.
It worked fairly well in BG, not tested in raids.
I'm not a skilled programmer, but any feedback is apprecitated.

Nov 9, 2006I added some menu options to my current version to exclude/include classes from appearing live. I'm also currently working on an menu option to exclude subgroups plus maybe a toggle for priority (not started).Posted in: General AddOns
I'll share it if it is of interest :)
