Because it suits my not-so-common setup 100%. But I used another bar addon before Bongos3 that had the same limit of max 12 buttons/bar. I had to split up the bars a bit then and used 10+5 buttons. Yeah, I'm a minority so don't adjust it after me.
Same here. The inability to do variable length (12+) bars is a big red flag. Here's hoping you or somebody else get Bongos3 working in Wrath so I don't have to deal with going back to basic wow 12 length, 10 bar interface.
The ability to have a 15 length bar down the side, a 5 length bar floating in the middle, a one length bar next to my toon, etc was the only reason I even departed the default bar interface to begin with.
Color me highly disappointed.

I just ran it, and i'm not seeing that. Do you have bugsack installed? Are there errors in your framexml.log? Are you running embedded or disembedded?
No errors, newest version STILL resets everything and makes it fairly unusable. It's as if it's ignoring my settings because when I go back to an 21 July version...voila...it's working exactly right again.
Can't stress this enough. No errors, loses config....AND you cannot reset the config at all, its as if prat is running but not applying any config settings.
Jul 29, 2008since 2.4.3 I'm getting 30-40 of these each login. I have no idea what they are. I've backed all my Cartographer mods out and re-installed to try to get rid of it but it still persists.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Anybody know what is going on with this?

Try these instructions, they're based upon the fact the no Auctioneer Advanced Addons have been installed into the Addons directory
1. Run WUU
2. Choose Addon > New
3. Select the >>NewAddon<< entry
4. Right Click - Edit
5. Set the Friendly Name to Auc-Advanced
Set the Source Site to Auctioneer
Set the Site ID to AuctioneerAdvancedSuite
6. Save changes
7. Right Click - Version Check
8. Right Click - Update
9. Quit WUU, saving changes
10. Run WUU
11. Check Event Log
There will be some messages there which say:
Addon DebugLib has been flagged as missing
Addon Configator has been flagged as missing
Addon Babylonian has been flagged as missing
Addon SlideBar has been flagged as missing
12. Use Tools > Purge missing addons
13. Quit WUU
The Auctioneer Advanced Suite has now been installed :-)
Please try this and let me know how it goes.
worked like a champ. I wonder why it doesn't want to work if it is already installed....

I've played with multiple setups including some in both this and th previous thread all of which seem to do nothing.
May 7, 2008I see no mention of people having my problem...Posted in: Raid AddOns
Healer Mode grow up does not work right. It's jumpy, sometimes it grows up but brings the bottom bar with it while trying to print bars where it things the bar area is, etc.

Eh, personally I see raid icons as only being useful for situations where you actually need to know where the affected player is. A prime example would be Void Reaver's Orbs; you need to see where the targeted player is so you can get away from where he's standing. Dark Barrage doesn't work this way; you don't need to move away from the person affected. I guess if you heal by clicking on people in the 3D world, it could be useful, but I've never met a healer who didn't use raid frames to target people and heal them.
I'm not sure how the Deadly Poison in Council could get healed effectively if whatever is putting a raid icon on that person didn't do it such that all the healers using grid with the raid icon addon installed saw it pop up immediately.
Usually, I don't have any chance of reading raid warnings flying past.

If you look at the OptionalDeps and X-Embeds fields in the .toc, you'll see that both already list all the libraries, including LibFriends-1.0 and LibGuild-1.0. The only problem I see with those fields is that they list LibStub, so that'll get downloaded as a standalone... otherwise, any decent updater should already be grabbing the necessary libraries.
Well the one from this site isn't, so I don't know what to tell you. They aren't downloading. I just did it again.
