Again, this is a really, really great HUD!! Keep up the good work!!
Just a couple of things to make it even better IMHO... :)
Really hope you will look into optional combopoints and I wonder if you could add a way to show range to target like the metahud have?

Sep 4, 2006Will you make one idchat2 addon with all the different modules into that we could enable or disable as we want (perhaps with a dewdrop menu etc)?? Makes a little less folders in the addon folder :)Posted in: General AddOns
(maybe add the different modules as folders under idchat2 folder and we can delete the folders we don't need?)
Would like options for timestamps if you want or <> or nothing around time and that we can select a timeformat...

That's why there's the numerical display option as well ;). Graphical display could use some tweaking I suppose, it's not as readable as I'd hope it would have been. Perhaps removing the "grow to red" style would help.
Hi, not yet sure what i think of the graphical display of the combopoints, but imo Drathals hud's showing of combopoints was very nice. It just adds some yellow "bubbles" attached to the targets healtbar, starting at bottom, and at nr 4 turning all into some other color and at nr 5 all 5 go green... Would really like to see something similar in this fabulous hud!
Maybe the 3 first should be red, at 4 orange, and then green at fifth :)

Spiralis, this seems to be a problem with either Tablet or FuBarPlugin. So your Detox icon is attached to the minimap I assume? Well, for some reason the UpdateTooltip() fromFuBarPlugin that Tablet is calling has a problem when attached to the minimap it seems. You might want to report that bug on flyspray or take it to the IRC and tell ckknight about it.
Testing both revision 8327 and 8334 and I didn't have any minimap button for detox, and i'm not using any addons to remove minimap icons...
Rev 8323 don't have any minimap icon either, but i guess that is implemented in rev 8327
Aug 18, 2006Hi,Posted in: General AddOns
With latest ver on svn i'm spammed about once a sec with errors in bugsack. If i disable detox no errors...

Have to revert back to rev 8303 before the errors is gone

And when a developer has an older version of Ace2 in his zip, you overwrite your newer one with the older one without even realize it. Problem NOT solved.
That is too true, and i'm sorry i didn't think of it :(
Have a readme with a link for the dependency?
There will always be some that think something is bad and never use it, but why should you try to please them when it makes thing a lot harder to implement? :P
How about if the mods could check for an optional dependency Ace2 (or whatever) where all the different libs are, and if it's there it will not use the embedded libs? Then we don't have to update the externals for those addons...
I know that the embedded libs is so that unneccesary libs isn't loaded, but isn't it any way to make a general lib load on demand?

Now, it shouldn't cause any problems that you are using new and old versions of those libraries but apparently that is not the case. So basically what you want to do, is to make sure ALL of your addons that use Ace2 (and similar) libraries, use the latest version of them.
And this is the reason i don't think ace2 can continue in it's current state... :P
Either they have to get this to work as intended or change to use Ace2 as a dependencie.
And besides, what is wrong with dependencies as ace(1) have? It's MUCH better imho as updating addons is WAY easier and faster than now with ace2, and would cause a lot less problems too i think. Problem to find the dependency? Problem solved if all addon makers put all dependent folders into the .zip so that those who don't have them easily can unpack the needed folders too...
Other than that, really great hud!! Keep up the good work! (That also goes to all ace authors!) :)
Aug 11, 2006_ForgeUser1188807 posted a message on MiniRaid - the smallest raid unit frames [PREVIEW]Looks very nice! For those that are grey, could you just place a letter in front indicating if d(ead)/g(host)/o(ffline)?Posted in: General AddOns

I thought much about that, and I would really like to include that. But my problem is where to get that from. I don't want to rely on the afk flag, so my only possibility is to watch for every damage and healing coming from a member. And that is way too much and will cause lag imho. I hope that the ace2 combat parser will be ready soon, and I will try it with that then. Register for every event and record only the source. If you have any other ideas, let me know.
Thanks for your reply :-)
Checking every damage and healing comming from all raidmembers i thing might cause lag yes, and how long without activity before you consider them afk? Besides, if after a mob or boss, he might just sit there waiting for next event, but pay attention and is ready whenever they move on, then he will be falsely be flagged as afk...
I was just thinking that you used the afk flag as it might not be very accurate, but if everyone use /afk while actually away it should be quite accurate...

Turn off the loot infos in your chatframe.
Didn't know about that option :)
But thinking of it, i want some lootinfo, but not the roll-info, anyway to hide that from chatframe? If i turn of detailed loot info the marsneedgreed thing will only show who got the item, not how many rolled need&greed... Guess greed beacon can't either...
Aug 6, 2006Have tried greed beacon and really liked it, but can't click an item in the tooltip to get the itemwindow...Posted in: Addon Ideas
Something extra in ctra/ora would be very nice! Only send the event if in combat maybe? And Ora_combatlooting to track the events :)

Tested this, and very nice! Any1 that will ace it to a fubar-plugin? :)
Would be nice if it kan remove all the lootinfo lines... (If i turn of detailed lootinfo, it just shows who got what item, and not info about how many rolled g/n)
