Sorry, I think I came off in the wrong way. What I should have asked, is because it's the same frame that the battlegrounds use, would it be best for an existing addon that handles them to handle these new frames as well?
OttoDeFe, I'm afraid that I might be misunderstanding your two replies; I'm not very good at reading sarcasm or inflection and I don't want to say something completely wrong. ^_^
In theory, since loots like group loot or round robin take turns among the group members (not sure how this order is determined), would it be possible to track in which order the players looted (well, the mobs death order) and then use this to predict the next player for the mobs ahead? (even if it required all members to have this mod)
It wouldn't be a simple mod, but I think it might be theoretically possible.
WoW has no way to 'legally' send or recieve information to/from any other program. The best you can do is use some sort of overlay for Winamp, so it shows up while you're playing WoW (or run in windowed mode).
I believe you can do this with just the Discord Library installed, if you don't want to use an entire discord addon. I know it's still not as small and minimal as you want, but just a suggestion.
So, the color of their name represents their current life? Interesting... Probably not the best for a healer who likes to know exactly what's going on, but it might be very handy if you're just trying to see raid/class status at a glance.
Would it be possible to make the top bar change with the average health of the class? ^_^
Oh, and when you say that the red dots are for units who have aggro; are you determining that by checking targets or by incoming damage?
