May 4, 2007It has been a month since this mod has been updated, and 2 weeks since you claimed that this would be released with slash commands. The future of this mod is looking very bleak for the common user with no LUA experience.Posted in: General AddOns
Please confirm that this addon is still going to be released in final form. If not I will be able to free my mind of all hope of using Flexbar, and pray that one of the other barmods will be updated for the next patch. I hear that it breaks a few things in most of them.
Maybe the project could be picked up by someone with more interest in getting it completed?
Apr 24, 2007Stare closely at the stopwatch swinging back and forth in front of you....you are getting sleepy...very sleepy...Counting down from 3...2...1...Posted in: General AddOns
You want to finish Flexbar2. You need to finish Flexbar2. After 4 long months, you have gotten so close to finishing it...but have procrastinated....so add some slash commands....please.
/snapsfingers and you wake up :)
I hate my UI without Flexbar.
Apr 13, 2007No kidding...we need slash commands so this mod can get back on the map. Assuming that this mod does not need slash commands at all simply because a few people know how to script with lua is pretty retarded.Posted in: General AddOns
Apr 4, 2007Just saving this thread from being lost in oblivion. Flexbar has'nt been updated in some time it seems. Is it likely that we will see a slash command usable version within the month, or should I just say screw it and try one of the others? I have been purposely torturing myself with CT barmod for months now so that when Flexbar is released I will be that much more excited to use it. :)Posted in: General AddOns
Mar 13, 2007That is kind of how I feel, I would rather have easy to use slash commands than a GUI. Having a visual way of setting up your bars can be nice, but it also seems like you are limited in what you can do.Posted in: General AddOns
Waiting for a GUI just seems like a waste to me, if it is much easier for both the programmer to create and many users to just use slash commands. It would take some time to type up a readme file for examples of how to use the commands though, with a list of what each function does.
Mar 10, 2007So will there be a website set up again with a forum filled with examples of fancy slash commands and pictures of peoples unique layouts? I really miss the old site as much as flexbar ;)Posted in: General AddOns
Also is there going to be the GUI before slash commands are implamented? I always used the slash commands instead, but I am sure I can make do hehe.
/flex for a bump disguised as a valid post
Mar 9, 2007One feature that I feel is most necessary, if not already included, is the option to create a button that when clicked will show or hide a specified group of buttons. This is great for mage teleporting buttons, tradeskill buttons, warlock pet sommoning buttons, or anything else that you dont want on the screen all the time, but do not want to keep more than one click away :) Hopefully the patch did not remove the ability to do this during combat, but if it did it will still be usefull.Posted in: General AddOns
Also, I like when buttons are tinted red when a target is out of range for a spell, like CTmod. I really like the idea of self buff buttons hiding themselves as well when they are active on the player.
Other than that, I will just be happy with an easy way to put buttons anywhere on the screen at any scale I desire. Thanks for all of your hard work! I really look forward to using this.
Mar 4, 2007Just wanted to say that I can't wait for the new flexbar to come out. It is by far the best bar mod that ever existed. cncfanatics---Is there any way that you could give us an update or ETA on a slash command release? I check the files daily to see how things are progressing, but no mention of slash commands yet.Posted in: General Chat
I look forward to playing around with a usable form of flexbar. Thanks for all of your hard work :)
