    Truth be told I'm thinking I'm going to have to go the popup menu approch when 2.0 comes out. I won't be able to choose the health pot to use for example anymore so I'll be stuck with useing one item from your backpack and hope you have enough for the entier fight, ie don't run out or instead of using an item when in combat show a popup of all the items you have (created before combat started) of the given item group. So for health pots when in combat a memu of some sort shows with all your health items, pots, rejuv pots, health stones etc and you pick the one to use. I could highlight the "recomended" one but you would have to choose the actual item.

    Ya but then to make that work given your axample you would need to use 3 buttons one for each damage. So what benefit is XAD giving over using standard buttons? Again I could be wrong and missing the point but TBH it's one use of the XAD buttons that I fail to see any really use for. In fact XAD would be a poor way to do this (assuming I'm understanding correclty) because you'd be introcuding all the additional overhead of XAD to do nothing more than what standard buttons can do already.

    So taking this approch BabbleLib toc should be changed to load both 2.0 and 2.1 since it's an existing lib.

    A couple of side notes/questions

    Why is compost 1.0 so "bad"? I know if a couple of addons that use it.

    One advantage of the seperate addon aproche is with LOD when you have no more addons that use lib-1.0 for example and all are using lib-2.0 lib-1.0 won't be loaded at all. The combined approch of "lib" that loades both versions cause 1.0 to load even if addons are only useing version 2.0.

    It sure whould be nice if libs had a consistant layout.

    For example BabbleLib has both 2.0 and 2.1 version in it but 2.1 is burried a level down. Other libs have the "older" version burried but their .toc files don't inlcude the older versions so they don't get loaded.

    I would like to sugest each "major" revision be places in a seperate dir in the SVN. For example for BabbleLib we would have the following
    /trunk/BabbleLib-2.0
    /trunk/BabbleLib-2.1

    And the .toc for each would be set to LOD and load all the code in thier respective dirs.

    This would make finding libs when developing an addon much easier it would also be easier when testing stuff etc. Since each toc is LOD they won't get loaded unless some addon needs them. It allso alows the !!!standalone sturcture towork and AceWinUpdater to work with the libs.

    Ok it's in 2.0 but not 2.1. Also the texture where missing so I copied over the 2.0 stuff to 2.1 and added to the textures. I'll check this in now.

    The sharpening stone should work fine it's in PT already.

    I don't have plugins for resiste pots yet. PT doesn't organize them by element but instead groups them all together as elemental resists which doesn't work well for XAD thus these will take a bit of work.

    I don't have an arrows plugin and for the life of me don't see what use it would server other then simply keep a count of your arrows which there are other addons designed specifilty for that XAD is for using items not keeping inventory counts. But I'm willing to listen to any good arguments for an arrow plugin.

    XAD doesn't use your top food. It shows it on the button but will use lower level items. XAD always looks at your current condition and used the most appropriate item. If it's using that high level 45 food over the level 35 one its because that 35 simply isn't enough to restore you health right now and I need the 45 to get back to full. If you want to "use up" the lower stuff eat when you are at 50% health instead of only at 10%.

    Ok I'll fix the mounts once again today LOL sorry about that.

    On the other potions I'll look into them today also. One work of caution though is you will need to be sure other addons that load before XAD that also use PT are also using the latest version that includes the additional items I've been adding.

    Kuram when you are draggin items to the buttons is the red shadded area on over the buttons? If so then do an /xad lock to lock the frames and then try again.

    PProvost, I'll check in a fix for the int items tomarrow. It's actuly in the Plugins/Plugins.xlm there is a 'i' infront of the file name for the int pluging. Just delete that i and it should work.

    On the missing items I check into them tomarrow. Thanks for the reports keep them comming.

    To place items on the buttons XAD must me locked, ie it's not showing the red tinted move box.

    PProvost I'll check into the int scrolls.

    Hakker, on the moving ya you have to shift-drag them off a button and then re add the item from your inventory.

    kuram, that was my orginal point on collapsing and it appears ppl want both options, first to only collapse buttons wihtout a plugin tied to it and second to collapse both buttons without a plugin and those that where empty due to lack of items, not counting those that can cast spells of course.

    It's very easy. Just create a local var of an instance to the lib like any other lib. IE
    local BS = AceLibrary:GetInstance("Babble-Spell-2.0")

    and
    local SC = AceLibrary:GetInstance("SpellCache-1.0")
    for spellcache
    then do something like
    local sName, _, sId, _, _, _, sIdStop = SC:GetSpellData(BS["Conjur Water"])
    Basicly you pass BS the english spell name just like you would use acelocal to localize any other text string and it return the localized version of the spell name. Then pass that off to spellcache and it returns everything you ever wanted to know about the spell that the user has in their spell book.

    Here is the return from spellcache GetSpellDate
    	return sName, sRankText, sId, sFullText, sRank, spellData.IdStart, spellData.IdStop, spellData.Rank
    If the user doesn't have any ranks of the spell you are interested in you can simply check the first param returned for nil.

    Goggles, I'll give it another go with your next release. As for scanning the spell book. DON'T use spell-cache that is exatly what it does for you. You can also use babble-spell to take care of any localizations of spell names for you. Since more than likly users will already have those libs loaded due to other ace2 addons you basicly get them for free.

    Is it just me or does this simply not work well for lower level mages?

    I have a 24 level mage and to conjur anything I had to reduce the conjur stones down to 0. It showed I had no water/food even though I did untill I lowered the max rank of food/water down to 3 my max rank at this level. I could only get it to conjur water at that point, until then it just keep making me drink. Still can't get it to conjur food at all.

    Checed in a fix for the AQ20 mounts please try them again and let me know if they are finaly working.

    I also changed mounts so left clicking or using the keybinding for paladins and warlocks will summon their mount if there is no purchased mount found in their backpack. If they carry a normal purchased mount they can still right click to summon a mount.
