    If I choose to hide the RaidFrames in Battlegrounds with the corresponding options the partyframe (of my party) is still shown in Alteracvalley. I searched for means to hide it along with the raidframes but no success.

    I don't think this is intended, because it makes no sense.

    Hm, okay...

    Has this been changed at some point? I haven't played/coded in a long while, but I'm pretty sure I used self:RegisterEvent() to register for an "OnUpdate"-Event before...

    Hello!

    I have registered my addon for OnUpdate with:

    self:RegisterEvent("OnUpdate")

    inside Diren:OnEnable().

    The Diren:OnUpdate routine gets called once exactly on registering. Should it by called every frame?

    I can call Diren:OnUpdate manualy fine. No errors.

    I tried registering a frame for my addon. That works well, it gets called every frame. But I still wonder what I'm doing wrong.

    Okay, I didn't thought about that. But just leaving it as it is can't be the solution, can it?

    Why not make the changes and add a few lines of code to sct that change the fontsettings "SCT_XXX" to "XXX" if the user had one of these chosen as his font.

    Or is it possible in any way to register one font twice under different names? That would solve it for other addons as well.

    If none of the above solutions work: How much resources, if any, would SCT use on a typical Auctionhouse-Twink? I just don't like to load more AddOns than necessary. Especially not only as a workaround...

    Don't get me wrong. I heart SCT. It's just this thing that's bugging me... :)

    Hello!

    There is a problem with the way SCT handles its fonts.

    SCT provides 4 or 5 fonts which it internally stores in the format "SCT_fontname". The fonts (Enigma, Emblem...) are no different from some other addons.

    The problem is, when I choose a font for ClearFont2, which is provided by SCT as well, but with the "SCT_"-prefix then the setting gets lost when SCT isn't loaded. But the font could have been loaded by another addon.

    If I choose "Emblem" and SCT gets loaded after ClearFont2 then SCT renames the Emblem-Font to SCT_Emblem and is doesn't work as well.


    I changed the "SCT_fontname"-strings to just "fontname" in the localisation-files from SCT on my local copy and the problem seems to be gone. I would have uploaded the changes myself, but I got a no-no from the server...

    It has something to do with disturbing other Players, because obviously you are lowering the fun for everyone (well, at least for your own faction...). I received a Warning for honour-leaching in Alterac 2 days ago...

    One Request though: Could you make it possible to pin an UI-Element to the Screen? Or make it UnInvisible?

    If I hide my UI with Strg-Y (not sure if that is the correct shortcut...) I want certain UI-Elements to still show up. Like IceHud and ClassTimers. So that my UI can be as Clean and necesseraly informative as possible. This AddOn would be the right place to gather special cases for this feature for certain AddOns. Because SetParent:Frame(UIParent) (This function is probably completly wrong. I can't remember the exact one, but the goal is to set the Parent of one Frame to the highest Frame in the hierarchy, so that it doesn't get hidden.) doesn't work for every Frame. BarFrames give the most problems.
