Will there be an option to keep modules inside the main addon folder?

Some addons are overmoduled anyway. AuldLangSyne comes to mind...

    Well, that's why I asked...

    ---
I thought svn would be better, because it would just download differences, thus saving bandwidth. Only reason against svn I saw was usability for users. Isn't it possible to enable compression in any way?

How are externals handled? If I update say 10 addons and a few of them use the same externals, do they get download for every addon again, or is there some kind of caching involved?

Will everyone be able to use the svn-server to download addons? I mean for free...

Whats the difference between bandwidth caused by the svn-server and bandwidth caused by updaters?

Why shouldn't / wouldn't everyone just use svn to update their addons thus bypassing CursedClient?

    Great, ALT-LeftArrow ate my post.

In short: cc sucks right and will propably get better. Just get your head out of your ass and don't pretend it to be the greatest thing on earth right now. It still has to prove itself, else curse.com can scrap their new source of income.

Also cc is downloading every single addon regardless if it is really updated or not if you select all your addons and click "Update Addon". Good way of saving bandwidth!

    No, it doesn't.

Care to elaborate? If that were true, it would be the fault of the updater.

I'm not sure what addons you are using, but I have -zero- problems using the client. It -did- replace 2 addons I get from WowI with 2 older ones from curse, but that was a simple thing to redownload them, and disable the "auto-update" for those two addons. Now, CC doesn't update those two addons.

Yeah, now THAT'S simple... An Autoupdater which does more good, if you forbid him to autoupdate something...

    Also 0 == 2 ???

    Torhal:

Well, you could also advertise the cussclient as it is and not mislead "users": buggy and useless as of now.

Don't bitch around when you say something is this and that, if it is clearly not and users thus being confused!

    Look here: http://www.curse.com/client/

Just put under "How does it work?": "It doesn't..." and nobody should come here and ask again...

This was meant to be a bug-report. If you are the one who implemented the /gm-command, don't be upset. It wasn't meant personally. I just don't consider taintissues as intended features.

So don't be sad... but please keep your stupid comments for yourself!

Will the AddOn be rejuvenated in WotLK? Is Thexod even still playing/coding?

I tried Pawn, and it's very nice and all, but it lacks the gem-magic ItemValue has.

Is there maybe a "better" ItemValue-like addon than Pawn?

"If you shiftclick names into the gm-ticketwindow after opening it with /gm (an ace2 command), the window gets blocked because (I think) of tainting."

I searched it yesterday too. It's all the way at the bottom. But(!) I have a feeling that you have to open the configuration-window for kgpanels once to show it. I don't know, I didn't tested it further. I could have just been blind...

I have a question on my own: I build a backgroundframe for ChatFrame1. With Prat I have enabled Linefading for this frame. Is there any possible way to know how many Lines are still show at any given time? The inherent ScrollingFrame Methods weren't helping...
