Vote for an option to toggle the new pet bar behaviour.

ok REVERTED back to old style, i wont do this again
Ok, I will test the new revision when I come home from work (different time zone).
I don't mind if I have to specify every new buff. (You don't get a new trinket every day so that's fine for me.) But what I'd really like to have are the buff and debuff timers. Hope this is still in the reverted revision.
If not: I do get that you're pretty pissed about all the comments and complaints in this forum, Ominous, but if it's no problem I'd really appreciate those timers. If people can't configure there addons I can't help 'em. (If someone doesn't understand why his DOTs which last longer than 60 seconds won't show, well...)
If these complaints really bothered you maybe changing the timers would help. An accuracy of 1 minute should be sufficient. Setting the default value of these timers to 120 minutes should solve the problem (I'm not aware of any buff that lasts longer).
Jun 23, 2007I like the new revision.Posted in: General AddOns
I like the adjustable timers and I like the option of opt out or not.
Sadly the revision doesn't remember my buff properties. And the settings on "General" don't seem to affect other settings (like player and such).
But when this gets fixed this will be a great addon.

Yeah, I did like the concept. What if "new" things were tracked, but just not enabled by default. Then, when it was convenient for a player, he/she could look through the list and just check which ones he/she would like to enable and leave the rest unchecked?
Similar to how it worked before, but with the default to do nothing unless explicitly checked?
what do you guys think of this idea?
It doesn't sound stupid but I don't need it. So I really can't vote for it. :-)
I use ClassTimer without bars and just to get short buffs like Trinkets oder Fire Vulnerability into focus (just above my character).
What I really wanted is to see every buff below 30 seconds so I could see every trinket AND every other buff wearing off (to remind others to rebuff).
Drathal's HUD did this very nice but as I replaced almost all of my addons with ACE and am now using IceHUD I had to look for something else.
Although ClassTimer doesn't have the same behaviour as Drathal's HUD had I can simulate it. An option where I could just see every buff with a duration below x seconds would of course be better. That's why I liked that idea so much.
ClassTimer as it is does what I need. Two more options would make it fit my needs even better:
1) Show all Buffs with less than x seconds.
2) Align buffs horizontally (but as you're using bars this is impossible)
But it's your addon, it's great and if you don't wanna spoil it that's fine for me as long as I can use it the way I need to. :D
PS: If you'd like to know what I meant by option 2) I could prepare a screenshot.
Jun 20, 2007Maybe you could make this optional?Posted in: General AddOns
I also agree with the arguments but I kinda liked the idea with the time limit. In my eyes this only makes sense when every buff is shown by default. You could i.e. configure ClassTimer to show all buffs who are running out and remember someone in your group/raid to rebuff everyone.

I don't know how babble encodes umlauts but it seems it has two letters there. That's definitely too much. :-)
If you can show me the encoding table used in babble I can tell you which escape sequence you will need. It doesn't seem to be ASCII.
Otherwise just look for an "a" with two dots on it. It's nr. 132 in the extended ASCII table.

I just have a question, updating from ClassTimer-r39615 to ClassTimer-r40272, the trinket option under timmers no longer available, is this a bug or intended not to track trinkets anymore?

ill do one better than adding them, ill make it possible to add your own buffs :)
I think it's intentionally. You can define your own trinket buffs now via "Extra".
I tried this yesterday and it works just fine. Just activate your trinket and add the name of the buff to "Extra". It doesn't seem to matter if its a self buff or an aura. It works with both.
Buffs of trinkets really change a lot. Class talents don't. So this was probably the best solution.
Jun 13, 2007Awesome addon! Just what I was looking for for a long time.Posted in: General AddOns
I haven't had the time to test every setting but I realised that the buff you get from the Icon of the Silver Crescent ("Blessing of the Silver Crescent") is missing. Will you add this in an upcoming version?
(I guess the new darkmoon cards are missing too but til now I don't have one of these. *g*)
