posted a message on Outdated addons but no replacement
    Hi there,

I have sever outdated addons running with my WoW install but I never found a real replacement for them, which fits my needs/flavour.

    Outdated:

    !StopTheSpam (39894)
    autoLFG (54879)
    BulkMail2 (56695)
    ColaLight (52176)
    eePanels 2 (59927)
    HatTrick (37142)
    Squeenix (55290)

Some are marked outdated with an 7xxxx and 8xxxx version number and which are just 2 days old and some addons that needs the above addons are marked outdated, too. There are some >1 year addons that are not marked as outdated.

At the moment these plugins do their work, but what when they will stop to work? Any suggestions?

EDIT: Funny, when I use my original WoW install, there is no line through addons and nothing is marked as outdatet, only with my second WoW install WAU shows the outdated line through stuff.

Hm, I have a problem: I had BT4 for just a quick look, and now, my BT3 petbar is not working anymore, but hell, we are doing Teron tonight. I have a serious problem now, when I try to reinstall and copy my profile into the SavedVariables, the pet bar is missing again, without, everything works fine, but now I'm f****d, because I had 3 weeks to finetune my layout with BT3. Any idea what I can do now?

Temp fix was working yesterday, today it crashes everytime with and without tempfix.

WAu always tells me, that "An error has occured." and crashes with no Info, just that WAu tries to write into the protected memory area (3GB DDR2 on Vista)

    Any ideas?

posted a message on Omen - Bug Reports and Suggestions
There seems to be a slight litte problem with language of the WoW client. I'm the only one in my raid who uses enGB client, all others have deDE client. They all get their threat shown, but in my Omen there is nothing, really, really nothing. I don't get any bars shown up, and I have always the same version as my raidmatess, we update all together just 1 minute before the raid starts. I don't know why this happens or when, my bugsack doesn't show me any errors with Omen or ThreatLib, so where is the problem? I pulled aggro yesterday when we were fighting Anetheron and that sucks really hard, everybody was blaming me for this.

EDIT: What I found out is that on a version check, my version showes up as Unknown to any other and any other people in my raid show up as Unknown Version when I do a version check.

EDIT2: I checked my Addons folder and found 2 other Addons using Threat 2.0 or they have a threath.lua: DaHud with DaPortrait and Aloft and a third one: CowTip. Maybe any interference by them?

EDIT3: Found errors for Omen2/Threat2, that was in raid yesterday in Mount Hyjal:

posted a message on Two WoW installations on one system
Well, thats what I tried to avoid. With the old WAu it was possible (two WAUs with different configs), any possibility to get this behaviour back? To switch manualy is not really effective. Or maybe I can work a little bit with commandline arguments? Any idea if this is possible or can be integrated like -i:"x:\Wow1" and -i:"x:\Wow2"?

posted a message on Two WoW installations on one system
    Hello

I have two different WoW installations on my machine, both under the same user. Any idea how I can setup seperated WAU for this setup? Need it, because one is my normal raid installation with current interfac,e and the other one is my experimental WoW install for my new interface and I need to update them seperatly.

posted a message on BigBrother - Some flasks are missing
Heyho, could you please add these flasks to the list?

    "Unstable Flask of the Bandit",
    "Unstable Flask of the Beast",
    "Unstable Flask of the Elder",
    "Unstable Flask of the Sorcerer",
    "Unstable Flask of the Soldier",
    "Unstable Flask of the Physician",

I added them manually, because we use these in Gruul's Lair and so it would be nice to have them in the list.

posted a message on WowAceUpdater Suggestion: Newest Addons
    Hi.

In the new version of WAU you have a dualcloumn row at the bottom, my suggestion is, to extend this to a three column row, where in the third pane would be the listing of the new addons (Not the updated, the real new ones) to have a better overview which one are really new to wowace. Since there are over 700+ addons now, it's hard to find out which addon is really new to the system and which isn't.

Only a suggestion, don't know if it is possible or simple to do.

posted a message on Pet support for <your raid addon>?
    /bumped

SInce I'm a beastmaster now and my dear bear called Kirby (I have him since my hunter was lvl 12 back these days very early 2005) is a real monster. He got 9500 amour, ~8000 hp and around 160 dps full buffed up. I've tanked with him trough MC and in parts of Naxx (Deathknightwing and the famous Faerlina adds.) and it worked like a charm.

The mainproblem was: Our healers and buffers are really pissed of by us BM hunters, because there is NO petsupport in the Bllizzard Interface and in nearly any addon.

The buffproblem with blessings ist the one, but the missing healthbars for raidpets or the missing possibility to set my beloved Kirby as a MT is a real pain for me, my supporters in the raid (Those people who really watched what Blizzard has done to our pets, it's like having a VW Golf 1 before the patch and now we have a Humwee ^^.) and for the other bms (We have 3 at the moment, it's a really good way to get the mob off the offtank and do his job and he can put out is little 2H and do some dmg, well, we have more offtanks than deftanks in our raid. ^^).

It's just a stupid idea, but how about a special addon only for pets to get their health and buffinfos and debuffs etc. Something like oRA2's Player Targets, but only as a way to get these pets on the screen for our healers. ^^

posted a message on ClearFont and ClearFont2 - Official thread
    Okok, beat me please.

Since there was no news on the official ClearFont page, neither on the different AddonPages, I thought this was another addon just with the same name.

I took a look into the Changelog.txt and see: It's the fabolous ClearFont itself. ^^

Sry for this, could be deleted/closed.
