Thanks, not getting the error anymore.

However does anyone know how I would change the Interface\CharacterFrame\UI-StateIcon to only show the combat icon?

EDIT: Nevermind, think I got it (SetTexCoord)

    combat:SetTexCoord(0.57, 0.90, 0.08, 0.41)

    Quote from Jyotai »

I've not had a lock up from Omen at all that I can trace - unless Omen is triggered when you click on the portal to Silvermoon that is there in the central room of Shatt. And I doubt that generates threat. :) But since 2.4 I have only made it through that portal twice without crashing my PC.

That's interesting. I'm having the same kind of lockups only when I portal from shat to silvermoon(or the new isle). Also locks up when I hearth out of the BE areas. Quite weird. Doesn't do it when I disable all my addons. Not a huge deal. I'm slowly working through my addons to see if I can find the culprit(knowing my luck it's one that I wrote lol).

posted a message on Ace2: Right for my addon projects?
Personally I would write your first addon without any libraries. You will learn a lot more about the inner workings of the WoW API as opposed to using a lib. It's like using MFC, WTL, etc without any understanding of how the Windows API works IMO. I would definitely go with Ace3 if your going to go the Ace route.

    Why does Tablet even exist?
    *looks more*
Could the lines be made clickable? That's really what I'm looking for right now, and Tablet did this, but without telling you what button was used to click. :(

LibSimpleFrame-1.0 in branches is supposed to be something similar to TabletLib. I'm sure Kemayo could comment on it some more. I remember seeing it's initial commit description that said something about it being Tablet-like.

It's not like it took you that long to fix the problem. Really it should have taken you the same amount of time as bitching and complaining on the forums.

Anyway, great work Thrae the new version is shaping up to be a rice nice addon.

posted a message on Are DogTags too difficult? Help me make it better
    Quote from Pastamancer »

I find DogTag's syntax to be awkward at best. Trying to decipher any complicated DogTag string gives me a headache. I'll throw my two cents in and suggest that you adopt a more regular syntax.

    [~HasNoMP ? Text([CurMP:Short][Text(/):PowerColor][MaxMP:Short])]

With a LISPy syntax would become: (with '[' ']' as the top level parens to make it easier to parse out each code chunk)

[if (not (HasNoMP)) (concat (Short (CurMP)) (PowerColor "/") (Short (MaxMP))))]

    Or if you allow newlines:

    [if (not (HasNoMP))
      (concat (Short (CurMP))
          (PowerColor "/")
          (Short (MaxMP))))]

I really like this approach personally having programmed in Lisp before. Fairly easy to understand. More so than the current method IMO.

posted a message on SetFormattedText Support in LibFubarPlugin-3.0
I'm going through some of my older addons and updating them to some of the newer API calls namely SetFormattedText. I noticed and was surprised to find that the latest FubarPlugin API has no support for this. Would it be possible to add this. Thanks in advance!!

You have to choose the 'custom' option in the dropdown that's above or below the field(I forget which). Then it should work.

I think any and all transmission should be opt-in. Privacy issues aside, not everyone uses broadband and though one line may not seem like an issue, those one liners add up.

That's my biggest complaint as I'm without broadband and all these things do add up at some point. I live in a rural area where broadband is not available :( I'm glad ckk decided not put in the options to disable this though as I was going to scrap my Fubar plugins rewrite to Rock all together because I didn't want to hear all the grief from friends and guildies.

You can't read/write to any file that lua feature is disabled in WoW. For good reason...it's bad enough addons can stall the game on the loading screen *cough*

posted a message on PlaySoundFile() borked in 2.2?
One of my addons was working fine before the patch and now the sound sometimes doesn't play. It just seems to be random. Playing a sound and then opening the options menu for example sometimes causes the sounds to just quite. Not all the time though. It's quite weird. There's a post on the official UI forums about this issue. Slouken says they can't replicate it in house(as of yesterday).
