I wasn't really into releasing my layout, but I Had some pm's on Elitist Jerks when I posted my ui so I guess I'll just post my layout here too. It looks exactly like I had set up my grid and ag_unitframes and should work with the newest oUF out of the box:
Player, Target and ToT:
Raid:
There's also some party frames, but no pets or focus (Should be easy to add). I have to warn you that the code is pretty weird with way too much nested ifs and redundant code, but I haven't gotten around cleaning it up.
Note: When this event fires, the UI may still think you're in the zone you just left. Don't depend on GetRealZoneText() and similar functions to report the new zone in reaction to ZONE_CHANGED_NEW_AREA. (untested for similar events)
I was just wondering what is considered a good way to determine if someone zones into an instance.
I tried the following events and doing a GetRealZoneText() right after them.
PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD - fires too early, returns old zone
RAID_INSTANCE_WELCOME - fires too early, returns old zone
MINIMAP_ZONE_CHANGED - doesn't fire on loading screens?
WORLD_MAP_UPDATE - works with IsInInstance(), but fires a bit much and doesn't really work in BG's (PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD seems to work in BG's though O_o)
If it doesn't matter then why develop Ace3 in the first place? There should be some advantages of using Ace3 over Ace2 no?
Ofcourse it is better using a nicely coded ace2 addon over a poorly coded ace3 addon, but since ace3 promises to provide less bloat if you assume a similarly coded addon it would be better using ace3 over ace2 don't you think?
What I do every once in a while is the following:
Start up WowAceUpdater, press the installed tab, set the category filter to 'library'. Select all the addons showing up now, right click one of them and choose uninstall selected. Then just update as you normally do with the 'automatic dependency download' option on in the preferences :)
Tadaa, your addons folder is cleaned from unused libraries.
I actually deleted pitbull yesterday and replaced it with ag_unitframes and it increased my fps by about 10 in shatt/org (not exaggerated), even though they both use about 1MB of memory according to my fubar_performaceFU.
I've been using PitBull and only recently I've started having the following problem:
I play a Rogue I have my Target Buffs stacking on the right-side of the Target Frame and the Debuffs stacking on the bottom of the Target Frame.
My combo points stack on the top of the Target Frame.
Occasionally (with increasing frequency) either the buffs, debuffs, or the combo points begin to "slide" from left-to-right starting from beginning of my energy bar to the end with the energy tick counter.
When I go in to edit and I select edit for any of the options (SOLO, PARTY, RAID), it shows the buffs sliding in time with my energy counter (in my portrait). If I uncheck SPLIT, then the entire stack starts sliding! If I move the buffs, the debuffs start sliding.
It's very bizarre. Any ideas?
The search function yields nothing and I haven't seen anything in this thread yet.
Thanks! :)
I have the exact same problem and it getting kinda annoying :( Never had any problems with pitbull before and I love it.
It's skinned already. Do you use a mod that recreates the tradeskill window?
No I don't. I found the option to toggle it now and when I turn it off and on it works (for the session). When I relog altogether it's not skinned again.
It's like it doesn't remember my settings :/
edit: I just removed Skinner's saved variables and the problem is still there.

Buggrabber doesn't give me any errors whatsoever, it just doesn't work.
