What Seerah ment is that EBB can show bars for the de/buffs on your target but it will only show times for the de/buffs you cast since the API doesn't return time information for de/buffs from other people.

(But maybe I should check that feature in 2.4 again, just to make sure it still works like it was before)

Probably going off on a tangent here... I'm guessing that the API used in say, Pitbull for example, to display de/buffs on a target is not the same as the one used in EBB?

Hopefully, you understand what I'm trying to say; if Pitbull can accurately display any de/buffs on a target, then there must be a function somewhere that can be used to make candybars for them. And if so (and the answer to this question will probably be no) could a feature like this be implemented?

Seriously, I LOVE EBB. It looks very polished when compared to the likes of ClassTimers and even NECB. It's massively customisable and I use it for loads of different things. Having the ability to view ALL debuffs on a target with candy bars would probably push EBB to be one of those "Must Have" addons in my opinion.

It doesn't show timers for buffs/debuffs cast on your target by other players because you don't have *access* to that information. ie, it can't.

I'm sure NECB used to be able to handle this. I used to be able to view all the judgements on a target that every pala in the raid would cast, and then keep track of it refreshing whenever I use CS.

And surely, if it's true that "it can't" then how is it possible to even get view debuffs on player unit frames? Because this functionality is basically just that.

When you say it doesn't have access, what do you mean?

    Hey guys.

I'm having a few thoughts about this mod. Usually I have just used it as a "self-buff" mod to display the buffs that are on me. Which is fine. However, I have recently discovered it can be used like ClassTimers, in the sence that I can display debuffs and buffs on my target. Which is awesome :D

    BUT

It will not show debuffs applied by other players on the timers, which I think is odd, because my self-buff bars show debuffs on me, cast by other players.

Basically, I'm looking for a mod like NECB, but Ace, without the size and memory usage and with the ability to split the bars into Player bars (that will sit above my unit frame for short duration buffs like seals) and Target bars (above my target for short duration debuffs like judgements). As a ret pala, i need to easily keep track of judgements up on my target. yes, granted, these can be done with standard debuff icons that are displayed with unit frames, but I the way Elk looks with it's ability to show ranks and stacks.

Would it be possible to request this feature (if it's not already included, but just broken)? If not, I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a mod, other than NECB that can do this. I've tried Demon, ClassTimers, SorrenTimers, DotDotDot... HELP!

    Thanks in advance :D

    ***EDIT***

As a matter of fact, I just tried the same thing with NECB, and it doesn't work anymore! It definately used to... :S

I'm getting an error with Prat:

    [2007/06/19 15:19:49-319-x1]: Prat\Prat.lua:2021: unexpected symbol near '!'

This error basically means that I can't use it, i can't use Fubar to edit the settings, prat doesn't load anymore, and Niagra will not see the mod to edit it.

    Hey guys.

I'm having an issue at the moment - and call me a noob if it's not an issue with Pitbull - but where it refuses to hide the default Blizzard frames:

    ---

I'm using the newest revision on WAU.

Im relatively new to Ace librarys and such, and I notice that it seems to be an issue with either the Parser3.0 or StoptheSpam addon....

I'd appreciate it if someone could get back to me on this, and either gimme a slap and point me in the right direction, or further look into it :D

    Cheers guys :D

    EDIT

    I'm, getting this one too...
