This addon is still not ready for using it on deDE-clients, right? :-\

    Right.

It requires extensive translation work to be fully translated. Due to Blizzard item mining preventation code I had to include all the item names and all enchant names.

posted a message on TradeskillInfo Official Thread
I have released and updated version of TradeskillInfo with The Burning Crusade recipes. But I don't know the skill level for alot of the recipes since they aren't complete on the websites I've checked. (They have a skill level of 444 in TradeskillInfo if I don't know the level required)
There is probably recipes out there that isn't discovered yet.
So if anyone know about a recipe that's not in TradeskillInfo or an recipe with wrong skill level (or anything other that's wrong), please post the correct information here.
Please don't try and update the addon your self in the svn unless you are really sure about what you'r doing, since the data structure in TradeskillData.lua is pretty complex and fragile (not alot of error checks).

Information that I need for a recipe to be able to add it:
-Itemid for the item produced (or enchantid for enchants)
-Tradeskill / skill level / (Specialization)
-Itemid and amount required for all the components
-Source of any new components (dropped/mined...)
-Itemid for the recipe scroll to learn it (unless it's a trained recipe)
-Vendor that sells the recipe. Faction and reputation required to buy it. Zone and location of the vendor. (If it's a sold recipe)
There are 4 factions that differ between horde and alliance in BC. Kurenai (Alliance) / The Mag'har (Horde) and Honor Hold (Alliance) / Thrallmar (Horde). They pretty much have the same stuff for sale, but since they are different factions there are actually 2 versions of the recipes with different itemid's for the scrolls, but they teach the same thing. So for those I need both itemid's for the scrolls.

I don't play WoW the much as I did before, so it can take some time for me get around to do the updates, but please be patient.

    /Robert

I'm currently in the process of implementing the BC recipes. But you are very welcome to help out by submiting information here on the forum or by sending my private messages either here or on WoWI.

I get all my information from www.allakhazam.com, so I need everything they don't have updated.

    What I need:
    - Skill level for all new recipes
    - Source of recipe components (Mined/Dropped/Vendor)
    - Source of recipes (Dropped/Vendor/FactionVendor) (Including Vendor name, zone and faction required)
    - Any thing that is wrong on Allakhazam (Incorrect recipes/Not implemeted/Fakes....)
    - Mining skill required for mining the new ores.

If you want a "ligth" version, try out my CharacterInfo. It's not mainly a bank addon, but it sure is light.

Honestly, I can not see why they can't test their mods on both servers. First they install the PTR client and correct their mods, and when done, they install the beta client.

What are they going to do when the patch is released and they are still working on the beta version ? "Oh, sorry, I don't have a version of my mod for this patch, you'll have to wait till the expansion is released" ? Maybe the developer of a single addon could get away with it, but if you're the developer of a library you should at least have the responsibility to correct it so other developers who use your library have a working version to correct their addons.

Being a professional programmer myself, I wonder what my boss would say if he asked me how my work for the next release was going and I replied that I had skipped it and was working on the next release instead. He wouldn't be very happy, that's for sure.

Sorry if this post sounds aggressive, but it seems to me people are just ignoring the 2.0.1 "problem".

Thank you for listening to my rant :)

Ok. Since you are the one asking how my work is going now, I assume you are my boss. So where they heck is my payment????

Point is this is all done for free, so you can't make any demands at all.

I didn't have the code left for seperate bags display. So I don't see that happening anytime soon.

The bags and bank frames are created on the fly with lua code. So if you turn those of in the character frame they will not get created, and not take up any memory. CharacterInfo will remember you setting about showing bags and bank frame.

When I first wrote CharacterInfo it did show the bags seperate just as they where shown on the character, but I discarded that solution and went for the one big bag because if the screenspace it was taking up. As you said it's not possible to show all the bags and the bank with bags together with your current characters bags all on the screen at the same time, but with this solution it is. As for the bank being optional, it has been that since the beginning. See those two buttons called "Bank" and "Bags"..

I'll have to check if I still have the code left for showing the seperate bags. I don't feel like doing that all over again since it was a pain, and didn't look any good.

I'm planning a variation of what you requested, but it's going to be implemented in TradeskillInfo. CharacterInfo is just the backbone to store the information.

It will display in the tooltip of the reagents how many you have banked + how many you have on alt's. (As always configurable)

I had forgotten to remove .orig when calling the original function in the hooks after upgrading to AceHook-2.1

In the future use the bug reporting tool on WoWI. I check there more often then I check here.

I'm glad that you liked it. I haven't had the time to write any docs for it yet. My plan is that it will integrate with TradeskillInfo.

I was using CharactersViewer earlier, but since that switched to rpgoProfiler it stated to use way to much memory. And CharacterInfo was born.

/cis menu -- Open the window (Will load CharacterInfo that is LoadOnDemand.)
Or just map a key to it in the keybindings.

CharacterInfoStorage just takes care of collecting the information and use very little memory. CharacterInfo is the gui, and that uses a bit of memory due to relative large number of itembuttons.

posted a message on Tradeskillinfo localization?
Doing the localization know would only cause me alot of extra work, so I want to hold of the localization until I've got most of the stuff in there that I want. Currently I'm doing TBC fixings. Was alot more to do there then I thought.

Most addons uses self.vars.myvar to store it's running data. I've also seen self.const.myconst for constants. Looks to me like a good way to avoid conflicts.
